If SmackDown is moved to Thursdays, NXT will be moved to Wednesdays. Good try, TNA. NXT isn't even on american tv but they'd still do better then TNA

WWE's decision is nothing to do with TNA. Dixie nailed her own coffin. More people are home on Thursday nights than Friday nights, that's why Smackdown's moving back. And TNA doesn't have an "eventually" left. After about five or six Wednesdays, they're done anyway. That's not concrete yet, TNA is still in negotiations with Spike at the moment. So please don't take this the wrong way, but until it's for sure, you and everyone else on Wrestlingfigs can drop that false report. Perhaps they'll start taping shows from a certain river in Egypt.

Most of you aren't fair when it comes to TNA. Trashing the company at what could be their last few months when they're trying to fill the hole that they dug up so long ago, that's an effort that deserves appreciation from most of us. TNA has proven with their latest NY tapings, that they're trying to keep "wrestling" in sports "entertainment". I'm not trying to judge anyone here; but can't you at least give TNA the benefit of doubt for at least with what they've thrown at us this past few months? Who said it's too late to turn this company around and get it back in the spotlight? Not Spike, at least not yet... just the haters.

TNA has proven with their latest NY tapings, that they're trying to keep "wrestling" in sports "entertainment". The only thing TNA has proven is that they've got nothing to bring to the table other than desperately reliving the glory days of older dead companies. The sad thing is that TNA has had such little lasting impact on the wrestling landscape that when the next number two promotion springs up, they'll never do a TNA tribute/reunion show. A 300lb man beating up a middle-aged woman = "keeping wrestling in sports-entertainment"? I don't buy it.

It's a smart move by Spike to at least get the most out of their remaining dates. TNA stands no chance against Smackdown on Thursdays just like Smackdown stands no chance against Thursday Night Football. They'd be, at the very most, third on the pecking order, and a distant third at that.

What does it matter? They do tapings like 4 months ahead of time so everyone already knows what happens by the time it airs. Just admit it TNA, it's over.

20-30 years from now, TNA will not be mentioned in the same breath as other dead companies like WCW, AWA, WCCW etc...which shows just what kind of "impact" they've really had.

If Spike is moving a show that is considered dead, does that mean that negotiations are good? It seems like they wouldn't bother if IMPACT would be off American TV in a 6 or so weeks.

Thursdays are going to be a huge TV night so they want to get their Thursday line-up set now rather than wait until TNA is gone. Networks move dead/canceled shows all the time.

The big bang theory(Which is one of cbs's highest rated shows) is moving to Monday's because of football season.

I guess I'm the only one getting all nostalgic for TNA on a Wednesday night. I get all warm and fuzzy thinking about the old Weds. night PPVs.

I used to love both the X Division and the Knockouts Division. Then both of them became poop, with random good matches here and there. TNA needed to continue to focus on these things that separated it from the WWE. WWE doesn't have an X Division? Make that a focal point. WWE's tag team division lacks? Let's make ours the best (which is was for a while) WWE's divas division doesn't steal the show? Ours should (which they did for a while)

The big bang theory(Which is one of cbs's highest rated shows) is moving to Monday's because of football season. That's because CBS signed a one year deal to broadcast Thursday Night football. They had to make room for both shows on their schedule. Big Bang is still going to compete against Monday Night Football.
