Shouldn't they be moving out the door soon?

Interesting. First thought is that this is a reaction to Smackdown allegedly going back to Thursdays.
Wonder if they've actually reached a new deal, or if this will just last until their contract runs out next month?

Shouldn't they be moving out the door soon? Exactly, I see this as more of a move by Spike possibly because they have programming they want to air in that timeslot now on Thursdays, probably MMA Bellator. I doubt TNA had anything to say or do with this.

Probably because of Smackdown, TNA should've stayed on Wednesday and competed with Smackdown seeing as it's a 70% repeat of Raw

Probably because of Smackdown, TNA should've stayed on Wednesday and competed with Smackdown seeing as it's a 70% repeat of Raw TNA went head to head with Superstars when it was still on TV. Legitimately 70% repeat from Raw and Smackdown.. and the ratings were still comparable. TNA would die a vicious bloody death to go head to head with Smackdown in 2014 and Spike knows it

May be a wise move with Football starting up soon. Plus if SD does move to Thursdays TNA would be dead in the water.

I guess if this was Vinne Mac's plan to put the final nail in TNA's coffin, good move; but what's to stop him from tossing one of his programs onto a Wednesday night lineup eventually? Then what, Dixie? Move back to Saturday, or try Tuesday, or even Sunday nights? I guess what I'm trying to say is, you can't hide forever, not while Vince and WWE has all the right cards and the know hows in their pockets. I don't know what to say, if I'm wrong about this, will someone please explain why the move for WWE Smackdown back to Thursday nights? I kinda missed that discussion.

When I first read this, I was hoping it meant they resigned with Spike, but then I read some of the comments, like this meaning that since they want certain programs to now air on Thursdays that they moved Impact to Wednesdays until the contract expires and the final episode airs.

Anything that keeps TNA on the air works for me. I hate the idea of TNA going out of business. Wrestling as a whole is better with more televised options.

WWE's decision is nothing to do with TNA. Dixie nailed her own coffin. More people are home on Thursday nights than Friday nights, that's why Smackdown's moving back. And TNA doesn't have an "eventually" left. After about five or six Wednesdays, they're done anyway.

So please don't take this the wrong way, but until it's for sure, you and everyone else on Wrestlingfigs can drop that false report.

If SmackDown is moved to Thursdays, NXT will be moved to Wednesdays. Good try, TNA.
