I think you need to stop worrying about wins and losses and pay attention to what actually leads to those wins and losses. Seth may have technically won both matches, but Ambrose ended up looking better in defeat than Rollins looked in victory. The entire point of a wrestling match is winning and losing. How exactly am I overrating the value of wins and losses? Not to mention, do you see any other babyface stars like Roman Reigns losing twice within a 24 hour period? Wrong wrong wrong. I think any major superstar would tell you the exact opposite. The entire point of wrestling is to be over. You can go out and be 250-0. If you're bland as hell, no one cares. The whole point is to get over. And guess what? Seth and Dean are over as .

Why not have Ambrose win tonight and then get assaulted to write him off of TV afterwards? That way, each guy has a win and their next match after he comes back is the tiebreaker. We saw this with Daniel Bryan when he was feuding with Triple H and also with CM Punk when he was feuding with Heyman. Months of constant losing ending with one victory doesn't work; our at least to me it doesn't. Rollins had two wins.. He won at Payback by default because Ambrose couldn't show up for the match since he was ejected from the arena, so they wouldn't both have a win Nobody considered that a victory, though. The match didn't even happen. BTW, I love the idea someone mentioned of Ambrose returning to cost Rollins his MITB not before but AFTER he officially cashes in. That is pretty much the only way to make up for tonight's ending, IMO.

I also find it interesting that crowds are becoming less and less enthused by Roman Reigns on a nightly basis. I can't tell if it's because of the way he's being booked, or the way he's faltered as a singles competitor thus far, but the tide is definitely turning long before WWE wants it to. There was a time where I understood the push to the moon, but at this point, Ambrose and Rollins are significantly more over than he is, their popularity is organic and natural, and they're both more capable in every department. Reigns is really going to have to prove himself in the coming months, or the crowd is going to revolt again. I think it's because Reigns is just in a pointless rivalry with Orton, so the fans have no reason to care about the matches. That's a good point. I would hope that they're still going to go the route of Reigns/Triple H at some point, which should be a great indicator of how well he can hold a crowd behind him. Triple H is a perfect test, because he's so damn good in his role. If Triple H can't make Roman Reigns a massive babyface, then they either roll with him as a heel, or they straight up take him the John Cena route.

It's pretty obvious (to some) that we are heading to Rollins vs Ambrose in a Hell in a Cell at HITC. That gives Ambrose the next two months off. And then Kane won't be able to interfere. It's called building a story.

After Raw tonight, I hope Ambrose somehow walks out of Wrestlemania 31 as WWE Champion.

It's called building a story. Can Kane have his own cell? Padlocked with no key? Also, did I mention that his cell is floating somewhere in the Pacific ocean with no boats for miles and miles? Don't worry, he has enough food to survive. I'm not a monster.

The whole point is to get rid of him. It would be a ridiculous waste if Seth lost tonight and Dean is the one who is going away. When Dean comes back, Seth can say "Remember what happened last time you got in my way?" What would the win do for Dean at all? He could say, "Yea, I WON. Then you murdered me with cinder blocks. But I WON, hahaha nerd." No. They did it the right way. Not everything needs to be even. They don't need to always be 1-1 in order for their to be a trilogy match. Having him win tonight would've finally given him a win against The Authority, which he hasn't had yet when you take into account his matches against Orton and Kane in addition to Rollins. Losing constantly doesn't always result in this one big payoff when there's really nothing at stake.

It'd be awesome if it was possible to have everyone who regularly participates in these Raw threads to have a sitting in a movie theater to watch Raw.

You're a very short sighted wrestling fan. There's a big picture. Getting hung up on the week-to-week is the downfall of 99% of the IWC who cry about the product. Daniel Bryan won the Title in the main event of WrestleMania. I'd like to see an chart of how many IWC marks claimed they were DONE before that happened and cried tears of joy after.

Badass match and feud between Rollins and Ambrose! But (kayfabe) why was there a random pile of cinder blocks? I missed the beginning of the match, so maybe I'm not filled in.

They weren't random. They were there for a reason. I don't see why everyone is wondering where the hell they came from. It was obviously part of the plan.

Reigns' popularity started to dwindle when the rivalry became him vs. Orton.
Everyone wanted to see Reigns/Triple H and it made perfect sense to go with that.
I wonder if that was there way of writing Ambrose off for that movie he's supposed to shoot.

They're giving Dean Ambrose independent promotion type freedom.. That's incredible.

INCREDIBLE Main Event. Just amazing to see those two beat the hell out of each other. Now, lock these two sum bitches up in a Cell and you'll have an even more chaotic situation. The ice bucket to Rollins' face and Ambrose's line had my lmao.
