Just got home from Ant-Man. One of my favorite entries in the MCU. A blast from beginning to end.

Cap: Winter Soldier Avengers: Age of Ultron Avengers Ant-Man Iron Man Guardians of the Galaxy
Cap: First Avenger Iron Man 3 Thor Incredible Hulk
Iron Man 2 Thor 2
Not counting any of the shows. This is how I think I'd rank them. And Ant-Man is really giving that #3 spot a run for it's money.

My spoiler-free review of ANT MAN: it's pretty good. They did a good job capturing the aura of the character with the tone of the movie. People who want super-serious heroes won't like it much, but there's some legit laugh out loud moments & it did a good job introducing the character to newbies while also acknowledging its history.

Paul Rudd is on Conan O'Brien tonight. Hope he brings an exclusive clip of Ant-Man for them to show.

I dug that they (potential spoilers in white) got Hank Pym's personality right. He has always been such a borderline d*ck, in the various stories. I thought that was perfectly exemplified while still making him a hero.Paul Rudd was fantastic, and I love him as an addition to the MCU. A lot of the one-liners in the trailer that were "meh" actually had depth and purpose when seeing them in context. Impressive that they're so many movies into the MCU, and still able to introduce characters so well. I was feeling a bit burnt out on superheroes, but Ant-Man reinvigorated me.

I saw Ant-Man tonight as well and I really enjoyed it! I like that Marvel has the fans' trust to keep making bold decisions and making movies that years ago would've never seen the light of day.
I loved Rudd as Scott Lang and the motivation for him and Pym was emotional and great. Ant-Man also took advantage of some very fun fight scenes and action sequences which really helped add more character to the film. I will definitely give it a repeat viewing because I enjoyed it and to anyone seeing it per usual with Marvel..STAY ALL THE WAY TIL THE END OF THE CREDITS! lol

God, Michael Pena was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS.
I've been on board the "Pena train" for a while now, as I consider him to be such a versatile character actor... but went to see Ant-Man with my brothers last night, and after the movie ended they were both like "yep, we're on the train now too."
As great as the movie itself was, he may have been my favorite thing about it overall.

Michael Pena will one day get the recognition he deserves.. He's been proving his talent for years without much notice.
He's one of the most solid supporting actors working today.

Just back from seeing Ant-Man, wow, so so good; Im not exaggerating when I say its one of my favourite Marvel films yet! Its the first time ever in a Marvel film that I've actually found myself caring for the character and why they are doing what they're doing; Rudd hit it out of the park with this, I want to see as much of him as possible in the Marvel Universe. Douglas was great too, damn every one was; now wont say its the single best flick Marvel have released, BUT its probably the one I enjoyed most, its a popcorn flick and will KILL in the child market, no doubt! No spoilers, but if your on edge about it, go see it, dont second guess yourself - go cause you'll have a ing blast!! They integrated the Avengers and Easter Eggs so well too, and THOSE CREDITS SCENES...so hyped for the next few Marvel 'uns!

Here's my review of Antman with spoilers: WHY THE ISN'T THE WASP BLACK AND YELLOW (Thoughts in white below this) I was half expecting when he showed her the suit, and said "it's time we finish it" for her to say "...can we change the colors?"

LOL at this picture! <3 EDIT:And I wish this edited version of Apocalypse (just makes him bigger) was real because it looks much better: I thought Apocalypse looked OK, but something was off and I couldn't put my finger on it until you posted that edited picture.. Even if Apocalypse wasn't bigger, they could have still given him white eyes and blue lines around his mouth. And they left off his arm pumps! What the hell is going on... Apocalypse has only a couple very distinct features.. And they didn't include any of them.
