Thanks for posting this. I was curious to hear what he was up to. I'd welcome a return for him, even if it wasn't on camera, but I'm not holding my breath.

I still wish he'd come back to WWE or at least make an appearance now that Triple H and Stephanie are in control of Raw and Smackdown.

Agreed. I applaud Shane for getting out. He seen that not only was Steph getting everything but also his opinion was never going to be taken seriously. Sucks for him really.....Shane worked on the ring crews when he was a kid in the summer and tried to learn everything he could about the business, while Steph played society princess.....then she strolls in and gets everything from daddy.

I remember reading an interview with a former writer a while back and going over how Shane was great for diplomacy and making deals for the company but really didn't have a business mind like Steph. I find that BS, especially considering how successful Shane is doing on his own while we all know Steph's history with creative and backstage decisions. I remember the interviewer also saying Vince and Shane had a lot of disagreements towards the end of Shane's time with the company. This I can actually see happening, especially with Steph and HHH involved as well. Its still crazy to think that Shane is n longer apart of the WWE. Back in '99-03 it seemed like a lock that Shane was going to inherit Vine's role.

As long as Shane is happy, then good for him. I was always a fan.

I'm just glad Shane is in a good place and striving. I can't blame him for wanting out; I mean, I just can't imagine the type of stuff he had to deal with backstage. He seemed like the best boss to be around and just a good heart.

To this day, I still have the photo when my brother an I met him nearly eight years ago. I am glad Shane McMahon found success outside of the WWE.

I'm glad he made his own path, but I always wanted to see him take over the company.
Hopefully he'll come back on his own terms some day.

I've always wanted to meet Shane because he seems like such a nice, laid-back kind of guy. I'm glad he's found success outside of the WWE and his match with Angle from KOTR was, and still is one of my favorite matches. I've said this before, he had balls of steel. He could have just been working backstage or in the office, but he went above and beyond and gave us some insane moments in the ring. Respect.
What I would give to hear, "Here comes the moneeyyyyy" when The Authority is cutting a promo.

I legit loved Shane when I was younger. Thought he was a lot of fun to watch. Insane to think the son in law gets the family business.

Good for him. Glad he's found something he's good at and enjoys. In wrestling, he was often a really good performer but by all accounts, terrible creatively backstage. Very good at handling the celebrities though. I'd still like to see him make an appearance now and again if it fits his schedule.
