Which one do you all like best? I have played both with a 5 year old and I think Skylanders is a much better game than Disney Infinity. What do you all think?

Infinity. I played a little Skylanders and thought it was ok. But I really enjoyed DI 1. And all the characters are way better obviously.

To me, it’s the same game, but Disney Infinity is slightly better due to the recognizable characters.

No love for poor little Spyro Lol, well I see what you all are saying about the characters, Disney has them on that. However when it comes to gameplay Skylanders actually feels like a real game and has some RPG elements to it along with a decent length adventure, while Disney Infinity fell pretty flat in that area and I don't like the power disc stuff they use with Disney Infinity.

Disney Infinity's Playsets were a lot of fun, but the Toy Box mode was really lacking.

It felt very limited for a game with the name "Infinity". I tried playing a few of the play sets, I liked the Pirates one but the other 3 that I tried I could not get into them.

I think the Lone Ranger, Incredibles and Monsters Inc sets were all fantastic. Pirates and Toy Story were alright. Cars was the worst.

I love the Incredibles movies and had I owned more of the figures I probably would have enjoyed that play set a little more. I played the Cars one and I was deeply disappointed with it (that is what ultimately made me try out Skylanders before I put any more money into Disney Infinity).

Sounds like the way you went about it, you didn't get the most out of it.

I love the Skylanders franchise so that gets my vote. I have one of every character and have a bunch of stuff pre-ordered for Trap Team. I can't be bothered to buy all the re-posed or re-styled figures that they make each year. It's expensive enough buying one of each character... but fun!
