Looking at prices of Brian Pillman figures, and I'm shocked that he's reached the $40+ range.
I remember this figure shelf-warming at my TRU for months, if not an entire year. After that he showed up at Big Lots for $10. Now, he's scarce on the Bay and rocking a high price tag.

Figures have a "cooling off period". This is when a figure starts to vanish from retail and the online market. More so if there is only the one release i.e like Pillman. Its not like you have basics and other variations of him available so thats when the price hikes come.
If you see figures on sale in store, once they go i find thats when the online market starts to bump the price up.

It's a badass figure. One of my favorites. I do wish they'd make a Flyin' Brian Pillman even if it was just a basic. I doubt we will ever see such a figure unless they do some sort of flashback spinoff line.

Honestly always wondered why it was so cheap in the first place, such an awesome figure and wrestler. Though I'm glad he was cheap when I got him.

I practiced torso cracking on two of them. I think I acetoned the designs off the others and threw away the vests. I dun goofed, as they say.

Damn, I passed on tons of Pillman at Target for $3 each. Saw 20+ during clearance.

Another unexpected price hike. I wonder if Jakks figures will ever hold value again.

I got mine for about 20 bucks, took it apart to make Sabu, then gave the pillman head and arms to a shield body to make ECW Pillman. Only regret I have is selling the vest, although it's not like I liked it that much when I had it anyway

Because scalpers are first class a-holes. They ruin the fun that I used to get from collecting. And what really sucks is that there will always be at least ONE to pay over $100 for one "rare" figure.

It's a great figure, no longer found at retail. To my knowledge also the only Pillman mattel has ever released. The price hike makes sense to me

I got mine when it came out. It's one of my favorite Mattel figures.
