Enjoyed that. Seems like he's having a great time right now and just taking it all in a day at a time. Nice to hear that kind of thing and he really puts over everyone for working so hard. It has to be fun to feud with your friend over the title.

awesome interview. very passionate guy, good to see that the intercontinental belt means that much to him.
ziggler/michaels would be off the chain.

I think Bryan vs HBK would be great and it has that built in student/teacher story, but I think HBK vs Ziggler would be the best modern day match up for Shawn. I think Ziggler admires HBK to the point where we could potentially see something on par, or better, to what we got at Mania 19 with Jericho. I don't think we're ever going to get to see Shawn versus anyone again sadly, but man...

Good stuff. Ziggler has been one of my favorites for a long time, seeing how much he loves what he does just solidifies that.

ziggler/michaels would be off the chain. That's what everyone said about Michaels vs Perfect and it was a huge letdown because both guys were all about selling and bumping and both trying to be that guy in the same match just didn't work. Same thing would probably happen with Ziggler, although Michaels was a lot smarter in his later career than he was in 1994 so he'd probably make it work.

coincidentally, when looking to see if you were talking about a different match than their (perfect/michaels) summerslam encounter, i came across this one that uses a very similar psychology then the story for the ziggler/hbk match i wrote out above:
i'd call that a pretty damn solid match, that put michaels over as the young gun.

I think with the HBK factor, especially if we're saying something like 2011, there would have been nothing but magic. HBK was making everything work right into retirement imo. Plus, since they're a similar size, it would have been realistic for them to take a really good amount of offense from each other. So I could envision one comeback after another with these two being extremely exciting. Again though, all meaningless because HBK is retired.

Dolph always shines through these interviews. Here's hoping his roll continues this time.

Dolph deserves to be a permanent main event player in the WWE Title picture in a few years. The guy constantly improves, cuts good enough promos and is one of the best wrestlers in WWE today.
Heres to hoping that his "punishment year" is over for his remarks last year about Triple H/Management and his push continues for a long time.

That's the first time I've seen Dolph Ziggler and wasn't overwhelmed with his bragging. Really cool interview.
