If Austin Aries leaves for good then that's another huge loss for TNA. TNA signs Melendez and Brodus but can't offer money to their top talent. -.-

He's been in trouble ever since the whole Hemme thing, I think. Not surprising, this is how TNA does business, they'll let him go and hire whoever WWE releases next. Aries will go to RoH or Japan and make more money anyway. TNA could do the right thing and sign some people from RoH, they already missed the boat on Steen but they could get the Briscoes or Maria/Mike Bennett, they have options. Whether or not that talent wants to go is another story but they could at least try.

Still has Japan as an option, but I think RoH would take him back, he will gain them money. Money heals relationships in wrestling. As a trainer maybe, definitely not as a star.

TBH Austin Aries hasn't done anything important these past couple of months for me to even care about him.

Where in Japan? There's no spots in New Japan that he would fill and there's nowhere else over there that would use him except maybe Wrestle-1. The whole "he could go to Japan" thing hasn't been a real plausible option for most guys in a few years.

I don't see why he wouldn't.

Didn't they reject Aries on Tough Enough?
Instead, we got SILENT RAGE.

Chalk this up as another huge hole that is taking in lots of water. While Dixie only has so many buckets.
