Hate to break it to you, but Aries isnt gonna draw much of anything for ROH. He's pretty popular, he's one of TNA's top guys and people want to see him in new fresh matches. I don't see why he wouldn't. As a one time, 2 time, etc. appearance...yes. But as a full time performer, that is on their main roster.....wont happen. The money he commands vs. what ROH is gonna pay vs. what additional money they draw because of Aries wont equal out. He's pretty popular, he's one of TNA's top guys and people want to see him in new fresh matches. I don't see why he wouldn't. Because CM Showstopper knows everything, duh. I wouldnt say "everything" but more than most.

If Austin Aries leaves for good then that's another huge loss for TNA. TNA signs Melendez and Brodus but can't offer money to their top talent. -.- Yeah, I heard they're giving Brodus a $3000000000 downside.

All jokes aside now, I really see nothing special in Brodus he's only in TNA as EC3's bodyguard which he was in WWE as Del Rio's bodyguard. And Melendez don't even get me started on him.

If Aries goes signs with WWE and goes through NXT I'm pretty sure my brain will actually explode. NXT is becoming an awesome Indy Wrestling supergroup. Lol. As a trainer maybe, definitely not as a star. Maybe not a star but what about a.... Starr?

NXT is great, but you better enjoy it while it lasts. Soon as Vince sees all these small ugly people they'll all be buried. And Jesus, a Starr would be even worse. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see Aries in NXT but I just don't see it happening due to age/TNA stink.

Ugh, you're another one of those "Vince buries small people" guys despite the fact that there have probably been more WWE champions smaller than 6'5" than there have been above it. I'd understand his age being a concern if he wasn't still at his peak physically and only 36 years old. He's a year younger than Cena and people are thinking Cena still has another 10 years in him

Some guys that Vince probably wouldn't like (Rollins) are protected by H, most NXT call ups are flops because of how they are booked. He may only be a year younger than Cena, but he has to go in and learn WWE style (1-2 years), get introduced on main roster, work his way up and by the time all that rolls around he'll probably be 40. Plus he said he wanted to retire like 5 years ago anyway lol, I think once he is done with TNA he may have a farewell tour but I think he calls it quits.

If the WWE isnt interested then ill be completely happy with a PWG run. Aries is the man. Always been one of my favorites. Hope NXT comes calling.

Honestly I can't say I blame him. I remember reading an article like maybe 2 years ago now (whenever he first won the belt with option c) and he was begging for a new theme song. That's all he wanted. Just a new song.
I saw full impact episodes on demand on my tv so I watched the newest one. Aries still has the same theme..

They all sound the same. Dale Oliver is a one trick pony.

I'd say he's a strong name, but not a top name. He'd help ROH short term, but long term they'd go back to normal pretty fast.

It's best for Aries to go ahead and bounce before the ship goes completely down.

There goes my final reason to put up with TNA.
It's been a fun few years, but this is it now.

With the roster TNA has on it's hands TNA should be looking at using Aries as one of its top stars not accepting the fact he's on his way out (if reports are true).
Aries, Roode, Lashley, ECIII and a few others should be the building blocks for the next couple of years.

Damn shame but it was a matter of time. I'll be interested to see if Aries tries to continue his career or retires like he intended back in 2011. Guy is a brilliant performer imo and his moment over Roode at DX will always be one of the best moments in TNA history imo. You can think whatever you want, but I still attest that Aries is a better total package guy than Bryan. Better talker, more exciting move set, and has a natural cocky charisma that allows him to work the audience a variety of different ways. It's unfortunate that he never got the chance to show that off on WWE TV. I'm a really big fan of the guy and I'm extremely grateful we at least got his second run in TNA and I was able to see him live during that stretch.
