I love the McRib.
There, I said it... I'm not taking it back either.

I've never eaten any type of sandwich at McDonalds, why? Because I just don't like the taste of lettuce, a patty, some mustard, and ketchup together. I usually eat burgers with bread, patty, and another piece of bread. So why don't you just order a hamburger without mustard and ketchup?

There is a lot of hate towards McDonalds on here.
I've had my issues with McDonalds but over all I love McDonalds. McDonalds is one of the few places that is consistent. I can walk into McDonalds in BumFudge Nebraska and the menu will be the same as it is in Chicago. For the most part McDonalds has open fountain drinks so you can get refills, there are some exceptions. Most if not all McDonalds have heating and cooling, so you can be warm or cool while eating depending on the weather. Also McDonalds is very cheap as far as cost of a meal. Now recently McDonalds have added play places to some of their locations so it's a great place to take a child to play.
Growing up I Loved McDonalds because it was a fun place to be taken by my parents. I had a great time playing in their play place and I loved the McDonald land characters. I still love the characters and hate that they dont use those characters that much these days.
Also I cant keep track of how many Subways I've walked into only to find they either do not have a rest room or wont let me use the rest room. On the other hand McDonalds, for the most part, never locks or hides their bathrooms.
To those who say they do not like the McDonald's burgers then order a Salad. I remember writing some emails when they tried to force salads on me. Salads at McDonald's are for the people who want to be snobs and belittle the burgers.
I've never tried a Big Mac, I hate Mayo so the special sauce is something that doesnt appeal to me. I have tried a number of their other menu items and love them.
A lot of people try compact cars, I would never try one. Lot's of people try skinny jeans, I would never try them. Lot's of people like soccer and baseball and I think they are just the most boring sports ever. Lots of people like eating in restaurant/bar patios, I would never eat in a patio. Those are just a few I dont see myself ever doing.

I agree about some of the McDonald's hate.
I, personally, don't eat fast good but understand why so many people do since it's cheap, quick and tasty.
I hated when everybody was dumping on McDonald's for not being healthy. Well no crap. They never claimed to be healthy. They did that 30 days of McDonald's documentary which was just ridiculous. I think it's common sense that eating burgers and fries 3 times per day for 30 days is going to have bad effects on your health. Mickey D's is just an easy target.

Those are just a few I dont see myself ever doing. I hate mayo too but actually like the special sauce. think the ketchup overpowers the mayo. I used to love Big Macs but can't eat them anymore. Fast food in general just bugs the crap out of my stomach. It's a shame because I used to love fast food but it isn't worth the irritation. Nowadays I can only stomach the occasional Wendys.

I forgot the last time I had a Big Mac. It was good for what it is worth. Though one time, I ordered one with everything on it and I was given a Big Mac with just the meat, sauce, and cheese. No lettuce to be found. I just don't care much for fast food because I would much rather cook my own meals and actually know what's in my food.
There is a ton of things others have done. I'll keep that list to myself.

I've never had a Filet-O-Fish, anchovies, any of the Monster cereals, blue cheese, tongue, brains or any kind gizzards. That's all off the top of my head I can think of.
I try to eat healthy but go to McDonalds maybe once every three months. I've found it's the onions that give me mud butt more than anything, but I like the onions so I deal with it. The grease probably contributes to it too since I stay away from greasy foods so much.

Recently on the news they spoke to a man who lost weight eating nothing but McDonalds. He said he was counting calories and watching what he ate. Back some years ago I remember the McDonalds in Chicago were switching to Salads as combo meals. I remember because it ticked me off so much. I would drive off and do runs into Texas and along the way I would see that those non Chicago McDonalds had the old menu still. I wrote them and was responded that the public demanded healthier choices, not this guy. Eventually, THANK GOD, they brought back the old menu. If you want to eat healthy go eat a salad. There is no need to eat your salad and spit on my burger as well. Im not walking into Subway and demanding they fry my sub. It's just so absurd for anyone to knock McDonalds for not being "health" food.

The McRib is DISGUSTING lol. I tried it once and couldn't even finish it, it felt like I was eating rubber. I enjoy the Big Mac once in a while, but my go to order from Mickey D's is a quarter pounder with cheese meal. My Dad loves the McRib... I don't enjoy it all that much - reminds me of bad cafeteria riblet sandwiches from school
