in the Houston area, Star Pizza is where it's at (has both deep dish & New York style) but it's so far away from my side of town...
so, if I order one close: Pepperoni's - you can go for lunch and get a good personal sized one with salad for a fair price too, but their absolute best are the expensive "Specialty" ones, "The New Yorker" & 'Margherita Pizza" are insanely good (normal large pizzas are only affordable on Monday's) like $9 vs $16
I use to live in Louisiana & it was all about the Fleur de lis Pizza - you had to go though, cuz it was far
The Pizza Hut over here is actually really incredible with that cheesy bite crust pepperoni lovers with extra sauce, really good
I've gotten take out from Kona Grill, just to get their flat bread vegetarian pizza thing, it's awesome
** I don't do delivery, only carry out

I heard Peyton Manning got mad at his pizza staff for putting too much cheese and giving the broncos fans the "don't" during their game against the chargers....said he needs to have a little talk with the guy lol only funny if you heard how controlling he is about the audio/video operator for the stadium...IMO, peyton sounds like a nut job half the time #evilpeyton nothing beats that new car smell

Im in Chicago. To me the best pizza is Garibaldis. Last I knew they had two locations open near Chicago. One in Hoffman Estates and one in Arlington Heights. They use to have four locations but they ran into legal trouble and had to shut some locations down.
Aside from them I'll say Giordanos. Giordanos has a number of locations all over Chicago.
I also really like Old World Pizza, and Papa Saverios. Those are all local places though so people not in Chicago will have no idea.
Beggars, and Aurelios are southside and south suburb pizza places. I've seen them when working but have never tried them. None of those are anywhere with in 10 miles of my house so they are too far to try while at home.
I dislike deep dish pizza. I always get thin crust.
National I guess I'll say Dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, in that order.
I hate Papa Johns, I hate Sbarros, and I've never eaten it but I think Cici's looks horrible. The worst though is Chuckie Cheese. Everything they sell at Chuckie Cheese is terrible. The pizza is god awful, I ordered fries 1 time and they were burnt. My wife had a salad and hated it. And the fountain machines for the soda are always messy.

National chain: Little Cesars. Great pizza when it's made properly and fresh for an unbeatable price. Plus they've got the best cheese garlic bread, hands down. I also love a couple local chains. I love my local St. Louis-style pizza that everyone who isn't from here seems to hate.

In terms of a big chain, my favorite would have to be Papa Johns. With local pizza places, "Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza" in Doral is my favorite. It's just an all around great restaurant and the pizza is awesome. Plus it's Dan Marino's restaurant.

I enjoy pizza hut, but my favorite is a small shop called Golden Pizza. It was across from my building in New York.

I also liked Papa Johns, but I won't support anyone who is against equal rights.

In Lexington there's a place called Goodfellas that's amazing. NY style and they have one called the Fuhgetaboutit that has EVERY topping.
I loved Genos East when I went in Chicago.
In terms of chains, the Columbus boy in me loves Donatos.

I only lived in Chicago for a short time, but the deep dish from Gino's East is IT for me. Haven't had anything better in the 20+ years since I was there.
Pizza Village is my favorite local place here in Cajun Country. Love their thin crust Landry Special (pepperoni, hamburger, shrimp, onions, jalapenos) and while the toppings are falling off of each slice, it's a beast in terms of flavor. There are few "upscale" pizza joints here that I haven't stepped foot in.
As far as the retail chains go, Pizza Hut is my favorite and I loathe Papa John's. I prefer DiGiorno's to any of the big chains' offerings.

I live in an area saturated with chain locations. I've never heard of most of the places mentioned in the video.
I'd say pizza is one of my favorite foods and I'll eat it from anywhere. I'm really not picky but when thinking about the question two things came to mind.
Domino's is probably my all around favorite national pizza place. However, my hands down favorite is from a locally owned place called Uppercrust. It's always so fresh and their specialties are great.
