In 1991, things were beginning to change for the World Wrestling Federation. With long time competitor the American Wrestling Association all but defunct, and the beginnings of the rising of new competitor World Championship Wrestling, from the ashes of Jim Crockett Promotions, the WWF's seemingly inevitable march to global wrestling dominance is closer than ever, but still not assured. Riding the back of Hulk Hogan, arguably the most popular wrestling star of all time, coupled with his heir apparent in WWF Champion, The Ultimate Warrior, where we go from here will either lead to greater heights, or a rising storm on the horizon.

- Koko B. Ware d. Alex "The Pug" Porteau by pinfall at 6:05 with a Bird Buster

- "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase w/Virgil cuts a promo talking about recently some announcers (namely Roddy Piper) have been calling on Virgil to leave the employment of the Million Dollar Man. He goes on to say that every man has a price, and that he met Virgil's price a long time ago, and that Virgil is going nowhere. Cutting back to ringside, Roddy Piper simply shakes his head in disappointment.

- The Brother Love show occurs, with his guests "Macho King" Randy Savage & the Sensational Queen Sherri. Sherri talks about how the Ultimate Warrior should do the right thing, and give the Macho King an opportunity at the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Savage says that the Warrior should do what's right, just like Sgt. Slaughter has already guaranteed him a title match should Slaughter, the current #1 contender, defeat the Warrior at the Royal Rumble.

- The Legion of Doom d. The Orient Express by pinfall at 9:57 with a Doomsday Device

Boston Garden in Boston, MA

- The announcers hype one of tonight's big matches, as The Big Bossman takes on Heenan Family member Haku.

- The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer d. Saba Simba by pinfall at 4:31 with the Tombstone Piledriver

- Mr. Fuji is backstage, hyping the upcoming match between Demolition and the Rockers, with the winners being next in line for a shot at the Hart Foundation.

- The Rockers d. Demolition by pinfall at 8:48 with a Rocker-Plex. As a result, The Rockers will face The Hart Foundation at the upcoming Royal Rumble for the WWF Tag Team Titles.

- Hulk Hogan is backstage with Mean Gene Okerlund, talking about he will be in the 1991 Royal Rumble Match, and that he is more concerned with the prospect of the Iraqi turncoat Sgt. Slaughter winning the WWF Title. He knows The Ultimate Warrior is up to the challenge, but he hopes the Warrior can overcome the oncoming Storm.

- The announcers make note that next week on Superstars "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will take on the #1 contender to the WWF Title, Sgt. Slaughter, amongst other action to take place.

- "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan d. Boris Zhukov by pinfall at 6:10 with the Three-Point Clothesline

- Big Bossman is shown getting ready to walk to ringside.

- Big Bossman d. Haku by pinfall at 12:05 with the Bossman Slam. After the match, The Barbarian came out to attack the Bossman, but the Bossman was saved by "The Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich.

August Civic Center in Augusta, ME

- Jake "The Snake" Roberts d. Dan Davis by pinfall at 6:07 with a DDT

- The announcers continue making reference to Jake Roberts recent difficulties with "The Model" Rick Martel, and that Martel will be in the Royal Rumble match.

- The Hart Foundation cut a promo talking about how they respect The Rockers, but that nothing is going to keep them from retaining the tag team titles at the Royal Rumble event in three weeks time.

- Dino Bravo d. Al Burke by pinfall at 5:27 with a Side Suplex

- Roddy Piper leaves the broadcast booth and heads to the ring. He climbs in, saying that he knows Virgil is a great athlete, he's seen him in the gym, and how he's tired of the Million Dollar Man flaunting his wealth all over the place, and particularly in abusing Virgil. As a result, Piper challenges DiBiase to a match at the Royal Rumble.

- Earthquake d. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine by pinfall at 7:29 with an Earthquake Splash.

- The announcers make note that Earthquake will also be in the Royal Rumble Match.

- Mr. Perfect d. The British Bulldog by pinfall at 13:20 with a Perfect-Plex to retain the WWF Intercontinental Title.

To be honest, I am not too fond of signing Jericho, Benoit, Austin, Regal and Hall to contracts at the moment. The WWE is still the land of the giants at the time and they wouldn't be hired during this era. However, this is your diary so do as you please. Also, on your shows I see you're having a lot of midcard talent facing off against each other, something else that wasn't done much during this era. Usually, they had one or two big matches while the rest were mainly enhancement matches. I can't wait to see where you take the WWF on the road to the Royal Rumble.
