I always liked The Rock more but all my friends liked Austin sadly. It might've been because I was young so the whole everyone wants to beat up their boss and get drunk angle never really applied to me as it would've to people 16+. A very astute point man. Rock may have appealed to a younger group than Austin. A great point that I have never see brought up on here before. as a 17 year old in 1997 working in a sh*tty job I LOVED Austin's whole attitude. I wanted to stunner my boss Roy every morning from May 1997 through April 1998 when I quit. However I felt that might incur some sh8t with the law..... so I nailed his tasty daughter instead [b/]
joker you are the man! That's hilarious, reminds me of when I failed highschool Spanish even tho I'm fluent in Spanish... Ms. castano had it out for me for whatever reason, she also had a smoking hot daughter a grade below me. We spent a lot of tutoring time at her house that involved a lot more tongue work then just the Spanish language

Helen Keller can even see who I preferred when it came to Rock or Austin. Out of my 40 or so friends in highschool, that would get together for ppvs, myself and maybe 4 or 5 other guys were Rock fans. Rest cheered for Austin. Growing up I was the only kid who cheered for Mr Perfect. Because in that era everyone cheered for the faces and booed the heels. Especially if your were 8-12 years old like I was. Not til I got to high school did I realize a lot of my friends liked him too. And there are a bunch of Hennig fans on here.

Nobody was as over as Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Duggan could go to countries outside of the US and get the fans to chant USA! USA! USA!.....That's over! It's an amazing fact for Hacksaw, but obviously he would be more over in countries outside of the United States, as opposed to countries inside the United States.
