Past or present. J.R, on his podcast made a good call that the Miz should become a manager and i thought it was a great idea, as well as thinking Jerry Lawler should become a heel GM on Raw. You can see why J.R has got such a good mind for the business.
So it got me thinking what about other wrestlers that should have quit their in ring career for a managers role. One that springs to mind is Buff Bagwell. Had a great look with that top hat and stuff that just made him an instant heel, great talker as well.
Any other mentions?

I feel like Enzo Amore in NXT would make for a better manager than an in ring performer. I'm a huge Enzo fan but he's a much better talker than a worker.

Roddy Piper.
I don't count his short run as Sean O'Haire's....mentor or whatever because it sucked. However, Piper would've been a great manager for someone.

Regal would be a great manager. He could play that evil genius, puppet master type of role. Like his career is done but he still has others do his bidding.

Enzo is just reincarnated Road Dogg lol, he should just stick to tag teams and he'll be really successful. Regal would be a great manager. He could play that evil genius, puppet master type of role. Like his career is done but he still has others do his bidding. Regal is something very special on the mic, can flip the switch and be hilarious or the most devious unlikable man on the planet. Would love to see him manage Adrian Neville.

I could see The Miz being a good manager. Though it'd be hard to picture him hyping up anybody but himself, haha.

Right now, I would pick Eva Marie to be a manager more so than a wrestler.
She gets so much heel heat that she could easily manage a tag team and get them over as heels.

I always wanted Hornswoggle to become a heel manager. Storyline would be that he's got this great mind for wrestling but he blames god for hindering him with his less than impressive stature. He uses the anger of his short comings (no pun intended) and his vast wrestling knowledge to unleash a much bigger/meaner superstar onto the WWE.

Not a wrestler, but Kevin Dunn. His ing face would give any superstar heat.

If Ziggler was heel easily Ziggler. But lets say I can only use the heels going right now, I'd put her with a rising NXT Call up, similar to what they did with Lana and Rusev
