Not sure if this goes on the WWE Board or the Classics board, but I just read on Twitter that the "Gigolo" Jimmy Del Rey of the Heavenly Bodies has passed away at the age of 52 due to what is believed to be a heart attack.

Shame to hear. I was never a fan, but hate to hear he passed away.
I'm sure the Nancy Graces of the world will blame WWE & their medical staff for this.

It's Dr. Amann's fault.
But in all seriousness I hate to hear of anyone dying. Bless his family

Oh wow, that sucks!! I liked the Heavenly Bodies. The matches they had in the Fall of 1994 with the Smoking Gunns were amazing matches!
As a tribute, I found this!

wow! ironically enough, just watched the Heavenly bodies brief ECW run on the Network this weekend, and also just warched the 1994 Slammy Awards edition of WWF Mania this morning, featuring the Bodies' vs The Bushwhackers.
RIP. i always considered the HB one of the most underrated teams of all time.

I was a fan. I used to love his dance especially because it looked so out of place. Sad to hear.

Loved the Bodies. Always wished they had more impact on wwf when they were there. They had some great stuff in SMW. RIP Jimmy

Darn really I was just watching the " Heavenly Bodies "last night on some old 1994 WWFMania. I honestly was curious as to how they got their name as neither had an amazing physique. Either way RIP

Is he going to win the Royal Rumble?

I always found it hysterical that they took 2 of the most out of shape wrestlers during the juicing years and called them the Heavenly Bodies

RIP. Another wrestler who died of a heart attack. Why do they always seem to die from Heart Attacks?

I always found it hysterical that they took 2 of the most out of shape wrestlers during the juicing years and called them the Heavenly Bodies at the start of the gimmick, Tom Pritchard was in better shape and was teaming with Stan Lane. it definitely took on an ironic turn in the WWF
