So, apparently Roman Reigns is the be all, end all, of the WWE roster in 2014 according to the WWE audience watching Raw last night. What I want to know is who did you vote for, or who would you have voted for last night had you voted?
Feel free to explain why, or don't. Just curios to see the outcome. I felt there could be a case made fore several guys and I would love to get some conversation going on it.

Cena. He's still consistently the best performer on the roster.

Barack Lesnar.
Because he ended the streak, killed Cena and won the WWE title.

Daniel Bryan - nobody got as big a reaction as he did. The injury sucked, but no one else gets pops like he did.
Ambrose, Rollins, and Wyatt have all been really good. Lesnar is never there. Cena is the same ol sh*t. Roman Reigns is being force fed to the fans and it's not clicking.

Lesnar.
Whether he's not there every week or not, he ended the Undertaker's streak, and made the face of the company his bitch. I don't think it's possible to have a bigger year than that.
I would actually go with Rollins as my second choice over Bryan.

Ambrose for me....he broke out in spite of everything. They had to take notice.
Seth got the heel turn Reigns got the push Ambrose got the pops.
Lesnars absenteeism will always hurt him in this race. Has not impressed really anyway.....
Cena is gone to a place beyond stale......Id say super stale? but that seems strangely appropriate. Performance wise the same issues for me still remain.
Bryan would have been a strong choice for me here.....but his injury obviously put the brakes on that one.
Wyatt's feud with Cena killed him stone f*cking dead for months. GREAT start to the year......Pinned Bryan clean after an awesome match.....pinned Reigns clean after a super match. Sister Abigail was a FEARSOME finisher. Then came the Cena feud......and Sister Abigail wasn't so fearsome anymore.....devalued just like countless finishers before it.

I voted Ambrose, but Bryan should win this. Nobody had a better year IMO.

Rollins or Ambrose. They had awesome matches and feuds this year. Rollins vs Ambrose at RAW and Hell in a Cell were amazing. I can't really choose between them.

I voted Bryan because he was full time before his injury, had the best matches IMO, was the most over for this year, and he won the title at Mania.
I almost kind of wanted to pick Lesnar as he ended the Streak and beat Cena for the title in a Squash match which are quite the kayfabe accomplishments but I just prefer Bryan.

Rollins was THE standout of The Shield earlier this year, made a HUGE power move betraying his "brothers" and has gone on to be the #1 heel in the WWE. Rollins also won the MITB briefcase which pretty much guarantees he is the future of the WWE. Rollins has been a very consistent performer as well, Rollins should have been SOTY.......BELIEEEEVE THAAT!

I voted for Ambrose last night. I know he doesn't really deserve it from a kayfabe standpoint, but I personally couldn't care less about that; he entertained me more than anyone else this year, therefore he was my Superstar of the year.

Bryan winning the title to close down Mania was more significant than Brock ending the streak imo. If you asked me which I'd rather do, beat Triple H and then go onto win a triple threat to close Mania holding the World Title, or face Taker two-thirds of the way down the card with a sh*tty match and a virtually silent reaction to end the streak, I'd take closing Mania every time. Guy's like HBK and HHH treated the streak like it was bigger than the World Title. Brock against Taker didn't feature any of that same emotional pull on the audience, as evident by their reaction. The crowd should have been hanging on every move in that match and they definitely weren't. It's a paper accomplishment for Brock imo, more so than one the audience truly cared about, at least in regards to Brock.

Without question, Brock Lesnar.

Seth Rollins was on top while he was with The Shield, turned on them to align himself with the boss and one of the biggest stars of the company, Triple H and Randy Orton, then won the Money in the Bank briefcase, the first ever one for BOTH titles, and then became the leader of The Authority from the wrestling standpoint. He did all this while putting on 4 and 5 star matches. Trust me, Seth Rollins is the Superstar of the Year.
You can't say Brock because he's only done two things with meaning this year, and he's been on TV/PPV, what 7 times this year? The Superstar of the Year doesn't spend that year on his couch in Canada eating Jimmy Johns.

Bryan. Even with his injury he still deserves it imo. He was the most over man in the business since Austin/Rock. I'd say Lesnar is 2nd with Cena being 3rd.

Voted Seth. Always puts on one of the best matches on the card, had an awesome feud with Ambrose, and doesn't hide in the shadow of Supereigns.

I would've been fine with any of those choices except Reigns. I would rather take a guy who was there for 5 months of the year (Bryan) than Reigns where he did absolutely nothing.

I don't think our votes or anyone else's votes mattered.
Its evident that they want to push Reigns from all the rumors that I've been hearing as of late. This is just another step to push him hard.
Also, the time from when they made the Slammy announcement and we were able to vote to them returning from commercial with the results seemed a little quick. Especially too for the Warrior, for them to come back and have a prepared few words about him and a video package. While its totally possible for the to have it on deck ready, its highly doubtful given how sloppy WWE is.

Dean ing Ambrose I read that the polls weren't rigged though. God help us if that's true.
