With Vince McMahon and Triple H rumored to be very happy with the Stardust gimmick, something tells me that Goldust and Stardust will never break up and feud against each other. Let's face it, the Cody Rhodes character IMO has ran its course and is never coming back. Your thoughts?

In before the barrage of unkind comments against you, for which I'm terribly sorry.
As for the discussion topic, Cody seems to be doing well, but I won't rule out an eventual change.

Cody does great in every role and is a great midcarder. He'll be fine. Hell, he may get a world title run in a few years, who knows.

Never? Not in this business. He'll be back. The sooner the better. Maybe they'll finally have that feud leading up to this years WM.

The only way i see them breaking up, is when Goldust wants to retire for good from wrestling.

Technically, the Rhodes Brothers split up months ago. Now, Stardust and Goldust are doing great, especially as heels. I wish their tag reign lasted longer, but I like Miz and Mizdow as champions too. I'm sure we'll 1 or 2 more reigns out of Stardust and Goldust. I wish Goldust was a more of a heel on camera, though. We've never really seen a 'dark' side of Goldust before, and I believe that'll elevate his character even more.

Excluding that stint in 06.

I hope so. It's almost 4 years that i wish in a Goldust vs Cody match at Wrestlemania. WM28 was the perfect time to make this match and they put Cody vs Big Show instead, meh.

Cody Rhodes Diva saying that Cody Rhodes is never coming back? Next you'll be telling me that Cody Rhodes Diva doesn't want WWE Magazine back

Stardust has turned out much better than I thought it would, which shouldn't be surprising given the performer. Main event Cody Rhodes has been a HUGE desire of mine for years now, so I would hope that at some point, he not only returns to the character, but is able to finally reach main event status. It's been long overdue, in my opinion.

It doesn't seem to me that they get much of a reaction out of the crowd. Of course, that could be lost by watching TV, I realize. Can someone who has seen them live provide more info?

Eh eventually they will, there's only so long before it gets stale.
I love their themes together though.

It took me about half a decade to finally like Cody Rhodes. Didn't last long though, Stardust doesn't do it for me at all. Have them break up, have him go back and give us the Wrestlemania match we've been asking for.

They had a match at No Way Out that year. 2002 was a great year for Goldy IMO. He had feuds with the nWo, RVD, and Y2J and Christian. Plus he was in that badass tag team with Booker T.

I don't see them splitting up since there isn't much for either of them to do solo. Not that that is against WWE to do so, just don't see it happening yet.
Once Goldust does leave I think Cody will go back to being Cody. Could be wrong though.

You know for once I'm not gonna rag on you CRD
Stardust doesn't have longevity IMO because the product right now can't truly cater to the gimmick. When Goldust leaves we'll see the return of Cody Rhodes. Who is a very solid talent on par with Dolph Ziggler

Stardust sucks. I dont like it when related wrestlers take over gimmicks of their relatives. It just reeks of laziness. Cody Rhodes was billed as the next Randy Orton for a while and i have no clue why they dropped that and screwed everything up.

Stardust is a bit over the top for my liking but is ok. The problem for Cody is, that with all this new young talent around and coming up soon, he will probably never get the chance to ever be at the top of the card as himself as he might/should have.
