First off I apologize if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move to classics if need be.
What finishers would you like to see return from the past to live again with a current superstar.
I personally miss 2 in particular
1. The Pounce
I really think this physical finisher would be a perfect pairing with a big guy like Rowan or Harper. Its a unique finisher and brings a certain level of impact that I think a lot of finishers are missing today.
2. The Cloverleaf
I know Sheamus was using this a ways back but then seemed to just stop for some reason. If Sheamus won't use it then I think it would make a great pairing with either Rollins or Ambrose. Two great technical wrestlers but guys you don't see using submissions very often, I think it could take their great quality matches to an even higher level and add a dimension to their game they haven't really explored yet in WWE.

I want Reks' Killjoy (Overeasy DDT) to come back.
There are plenty of 6'5''+ guys down in NXT who could use a badass power finisher like that (Dawkins, Bishop, Fulton, Stowman), or maybe even one of the stockier heavyweights (Briggs, Blake, Murphy, Dempsey).
Speaking of badass power finishers, I also want the TKO (last used by Alex Riley) or reverse TKO/Argentine rack neckbreaker (used by Mason Ryan in his 2013 NXT stint) to come back.

I'd LOVE to see Dean Ambrose start using the Knee Trembler as his finisher. Much better than Dirty Deeds, I think.

The Cloverleaf was a lot cooler when Christian was using it... so if he comes back, definitely have him do it as a high spot type of move.
I wish Goldust would use the Curtain Call again.
I wish Big Show would do the enormous chokeslam finisher more... I don't like the KO punch at all.

I want Victoria to come back but if she really is retired (not exactly by choice), then I would still love to see this move done often in WWE. It would probably go to a guy but it would always be Victoria's. <3

Didn't Paige use the Cloverleaf on NXT? And Widows Peak... Yeah she did actually and it was the original move she used that was referred to as RamPaige but it has since been given to her Fisherman Drop DDT finisher considering she doesn't do that cloverleaf anymore. |
