The WWE feels that they are in dire need for a new John Cena, so they won't risk turning their next golden boy heel.

He isn't experienced enough to be a heel at the moment.
If they wanted him to turn he should eliminate Bryan at RR and get major heat, then the next night cut a promo saying "not every story has a happy ending" or something like that, not complex just like to make him look like a heel.
Then have him feud with Bryan so he can look good due to Bryan being amazing and get 3 eliminations at EC or something. Leading into WrestleMania just feud with like Ambrose or Cena or someone whilst Bryan wins in the chamber.

I mentioned this before, I think Reigns heel turn when he wins the title ala Rock at Survivor Series 98 would be great. But yea he kind of isn't experienced enough for that, and doesn't have hardly any backstory, more like Goldberg atm. He can't do the same kind of explanation Rock did about it. But some of the pieces are there and I think it would be good for him. Wasn't Cena a heel at sometimes in the beginning?
edit: At least I know it keeps occurring to me as something I wish would happen, would be exciting.
I think we're talking about his SS98 heel turn not his NOD heel turn. The SS98 turn involved him rejecting an audience then fiercely behind him, don't think that hurt Rock in the long run.

I said a few weeks ago on here, that WWE should have the Authority and even Heyman screw over Lesnar at WM to align with Roman. Then Roman has Cena, Ziggler, Bryan, Ambrose, Orton, and maybe the Rock to feud with for the next year. This way Lesnar (presumably) leaves WWE looking like a chump, and Heyman has a new role in WWE. And there is no denying Roman could use a mouthpiece. And whom better for that than Heyman? Roman then can be the mega heel monster till his promo skills and in ring work improve enough for him to be the mega face WWE wants him to be.

Reigns as a heel would not be "best for business". Seriously IMO he's not believable as a heel at least not yet.

The first Rollins was a hologram. "It's an illusion!"

That's a pretty great idea man.....It offers a lot more constructive scenarios for Reigns.

Ryback was hotter than Reigns is now and they turned him heel.
Look what that did for him. He's only just beginning to recover two years later.

It'd be funny because a lot of those boos he gets would turn into cheers which would be a great representation of wrestling fans.

Fact: Bryan did not win the RR last year & the fans were pissed. Fact: Bryan had his WM moment last year. Safe assumption: that can't be topped, & something fresh could be better than a repeat of last year if done right. Fact: no one has ever cashed in after a WM main event. Safe assumption: if Reigns wins the RR he will be booed, but if given another year to build the fans will probably like him a lot more.
Conclusion from the above statements: Bryan should win the RR like he should have last year & face Brock at WM whilst Reigns has another high-profile match. Bryan beats Brock but then Rollins cashes in after. Satisfies the fans whilst doing something new & making Rollins a mega-heel.

I can't imagine Reigns as a heel at this moment. I could be wrong, but every road points to Reigns being a mega face, be it winning the rumble or facing a guy like Rollins or Rusev at Mania. There's going to at least be a shot to make Reigns a face, if it doesn't work adjustments might be made but I can't see it. pretty much agree. I have a hard time seeing him as a heel. Generally heel is a bit easier, but I don't think he has the personality for it.
