WWE Raw (2 hours) is on sky 1 Sunday 4th 11am - 1pm
Never seen raw off sky sports so thought it worth mentioning

Yeah it's a new thing they're going to do. Seems a bit strange to me as after NXT being axed a lot of people who only subscribed to Sky Sports for WWE can now cancel and still get Raw.

It confuses me why they don't show nxt I know it's prob due to the network etc But they have even got 1 and 2 hours of raw on sky sports darts and 1 hour smackdown So there obviously is a demand for wwe I'd rather sky keep there wwe shows as they were than all this crap for the network :/

It's getting crazy with all these programming changes, plus the price increase in the PPVs... can't we just have a dedicated WWE channel that shows everything: RAW, Smackdown, NXT, Vintage, new stuff/specials/documentaries etc. - plus the monthly PPVs? I mean, Sky has the rights to all of them - so even if we can't get The Network here (which I'm beginning to wonder), surely Sky could make their own version of it or something like it ("Sky Sports WWE")?

I'm guessing there just isn't the demand for it without it being a subscription service which isn't really viable. Those add on channels such as 'Sky Sports Darts' only work because they are on for short periods of time. Sky will never give up the PPV's as a bonus to subscribing to an extra channel and there just won't be the demand if all you get is the Raw's etc that were on anyway. The reason the Network works is because of all of the on demand content. Sky wouldn't have access to this.

I do think they'd be a demand for all WWE programming (RAW, Smackdown, the PPVs etc) in one place/on one channel - especially as many WWE fans (me!) only subscribe to Sky Sports because of RAW and Smackdown. Plus, you'd have it in perfect HD quality (which is better than HD on the Network) and no buffering/stop-start issues. Personally, I could live without the on-demand stuff - most of the things I want, I already have on DVD/BD - and I doubt I'd have time to watch it all anyway!
