I see a lot of people defending his booking on this forum, and I'm not sure why. This is by far one of the best talents on the roster, can work good matches and even with his stripped down promos, still cuts a better promo than anyone in the roster save Heyman. Ambrose has some of the craptiest booking of a baby face I've ever seen. He has even worse booking than what Bryan was having at the end of last year. The guy jobbed to a TV, a Genie from a lamp and he jobbed to ING KANE! Who the jobs to KANE of all people? Ambrose's booking isn't that much better than a guy like Erick Rowan, he's just featured on a higher spot, but is featured like a total geek. The fact the dude is over is a testament to how talented the guy is. What the are they doing with him? It seems like any baby face that isn't Reigns can shove it, but man this guy is so talented, and he's being ing destroyed right in front of us, and some of us are defending it as good booking.

I said it in the Raw thread, and I'll say it again: Someone booked to lose almost every time can still remain over af Ambrose will get his moment, not now though

Tommy didn't get so much as one godamn win in any form clean dirty you name it didn't happen for two years! For two damn years dreamer chased raven and beat him once. But when he finally did win the crowd ate it up. Ambrose will get his victory one day.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Ambrose being a fan of comics and video games or something. Instead, it seems OP is Freddie Blassie reincarnated.
But seriously, I agree that his booking has been horrendous.

Heck, the only victories during the time he was feuding with Raven that I can remember is the scaffold match against Brian Lee and maybe November 2 Remember 96 with Funk.

Ambrose is over as hell. What are they doing with him? Using his overness to help get other guys over too. Rollins and Wyatt both got rubs from working with Ambrose while he himself is still getting huge reactions. He'll get his time, but there are a few big baby faces hogging the main event right now after Survivor Series, and now with Bryan coming back, it's cluttered. You can only have so many guys at the top at one time. He's helping build the next big heels and for right now that's fine. Like stated above, his time will come. Right now, the future is going through Ambrose, and Rollins/Wyatt/Reigns/Ambrose I'd be willing to bet will all be at the same spot this time next year, or at least close to it.

And much like Bryan it's going to blow up in their face.

The bad thing about his feud with Bray is that both he and Bray really need the wins and momentum.

These are WWE fans, most of whom could probably be convinced CM Punk was never in WWE some day.

That would be great. Actually, I think Ambrose could be booked pretty well as a Raven-type Flock leader. Then again, that's what Bray Wyatt was until they took away his guys. They have both been booked poorly, that's why the crowd was so dead while they were busting their asses out there.

Ambrose is my favorite current wrestler, i hate seeing him lose but I have a feeling that it will pay off eventually.

ill just say that I am frustrated as well with ambrose's slight losing streak (if u can call it that), but I do understand the potential plans for bray (building him up IF the undertaker returns for mania vs. bray) & like Painkiller above me, I agree eventually it will pay off

Ambrose is doing fine. He doesn't need to win much to be awesome and be over. He's gonna crawl to the top, and doesn't need the help that Reigns does.

I don't get it. Some fans expect everything to happen in such a short period of time and are quick to dismiss it or cry "buried!" (a term I ing hate to hear) rather than letting a storyline play out. Take Daniel Bryan for example. If he overcame The Authority at Battleground, Hell In A Cell, Elimination Chamber and eventually won the belts at Wrestlemania then that win and moment would not be anywhere as big as it was. Rather than instantly clicking 'Create Topic' when someone loses, be patient and see where the loss takes them.

To me Ambrose comes across as the modern day Mick Foley. Daredevil that puts his body on the line and makes his opponent look good, doing that one crazy spot that's memorable, but rarely picking up the win.
