WWE Monday Night RAW December 29th, 2014 (without the new years balloon entrance banners)
Repeat.
Thoughts?

Other than the ending, that raw sucked. This weeks was better.

It's amazing how last week people were really happy with the WWE and were praising it and everything about it after the last Raw of 2014 was good, yet now the majority of wrestling fans say the company is going down the drain and needs a desperate change after ONE bad Raw, which wasn't even that bad IMO.

I think the reason why is because of the character development shown. I dunno, small things like that can make a difference I think. We finally saw some of Harper's motives for one.

Last night's Raw wasn't very good. I don't consider 2014 to be dreadful like some people do, but if Raws were more consistently good like the 12/29 episode, things would be better. With Smackdown already being a throwaway show, Raw has to be better on a consistent basis.

It's stunning how they can go from Top 3 show for the year one week to utter crap the next.
It's clear that they're just making it up as they go along week-to-week, or even day-to-day. There's just no logic in half the things they do anymore.
I really hope that Ambrose being sent away in that ambulance means that he's getting promoted to NXT.

I don't think last nights RAW was terrible, it's just that nothing really happened outside of the ending.

I also figured out how to fix the WWE's problems.
NXT's creative process
Two guys booking pro wrestling instead of a group of people whose primary goal is to kiss Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn's asses? What a concept.

Last night was not that bad, it was not really good, but we've seen far worse...

my point is....
RAW last week gave us
Solid opener to set the stage of the night. Great matches with purpose behind them. A little cheese. Character development. A great close (with a cliffhanger)
Hell I don't even remember the commentary being that terrible, or the camera work. I'm sure some of that was there but it was lost because the SHOW was great.
This week....it's back to the same old status quo. Same old force fed crap we've been seeing and stuff that was just in general not very entertaining.

I'll take HHH and whoever he's writing with over the dozen of Vince yes-men. I'll take HHH and Heyman writing Raw over either as a pipe dream.

Both commentary and camera work were probably horrible, but it stands to better your point that nobody really remembers it, whereas this week, commentary is a big gripe.

NXT's creative process Two guys booking pro wrestling instead of a group of people whose primary goal is to kiss Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn's asses? What a concept. THIS, 1000%. There are WAY too many writers, as the old saying goes, "Too many cooks in the kitchen". I found last week's RAW to be good, but IMO it wasn't as good as people made it out to be. Seth Rollins was great on the mic, until he was going, "JOHN, JOHN, JOHN!". Then I figured out why I say that Seth Rollins is hit or miss. He's good if he's on the mic for a few minutes. If you put him on for as long as they did at the end of that RAW, you'll get "JOHN, JOHN!". Last week's RAW showed that they can write better shows when they had almost half the roster not there than when they have the full roster and they're trying to fit everyone in. Again, I really don't mind one or two matches on a show happening just to put people on TV. Problem is, they do that a lot more than they should. I have hope that when Vince finally retires and gives power to Triple H, that the product will improve..........and that the buck toothed stooge Kevin Dunn gets fired.

All they need to do is look at their developmental show(NXT), which is funny cause it's actually better than the stuff we are seeing currently on RAW and SD.

Seems silly to get happy at the cliffhanger last week of The Authority being brought back, then complain this week that The Authority's back.
The weirdest thing is that in his interview with Austin, Vince said he doesn't think people care about two wrestlers wrestling for the sake of it, yet pretty much every match is just that. Ambrose vs Wyatt could've been a good feud, they're both solid performers, but there was never any decent motivation written into it and they just had a bunch (what, four? Five? Six?) of pointless hardcore matches over the last month like a weak imitation of attitude era main events.
It was a better Raw than most of the ones since Survivor Series, but man, it was still not good. I'm intrigued to see how the three guys get their jobs back, though.

This weeks Raw was abysmal. Terrible from start to finish. I wasn't a giant fan of last weeks either but at least they gave guys like Cesaro and Ryback a chance to do something different, as well as two great hosts, and a decent ending.
This weeks Raw put me to sleep.

...at least Big Show didn't cry.
The next time he cries, I'm out.

Heyman needs to resign when/if Brock leaves (hopefully) to either become:
A) Commentator B) Creative writer C) Both
Boom. Fixed.
