Stopped by this morning to see if Series 45 was stocked yet. No go, but I noticed that all the WWE stuff has increased in price since yesterday. Elites are $19.84 up from $18.97, Basics are $10.97 up from $9.97, and Battle Packs are $19.84 up from $17.97. Bad news for this area, as Battle Packs were barely moving at the $17ish price tag and only the good Elites were selling at $18.97. With taxes, Elites and BP sets are now a touch over $21. In this area, that pretty much leaves Meijer as the only place still offering Elites at a pretty good price ($16.97), while everywhere else is north of $20 with tax.
I know pricing depends on the area, but this is a pretty blue collar/low income area, so I would assume the price increase is taking effect many other places, if it hasn't already. All in all, it's another tally in the favor of RSC pre-order pricing.

Mattel increased all prices for the year on basics, battle packs and elites so that's why everybody increased prices... Meijer will prolly go up at some point if they want to make money lol

I'll stop buying at retail.
It's not worth it anymore alot of the time.
Amazon is becoming my go to place besides Ringside.

4-5 years ago Elites were reasonable price of $15. This is why when I buy figures their all off ringside and ebay.

It's frustrating that Amazon has such a better price than the stores these days...
Course that would mean my area Wal-Marts would need to carry something.

That doesn't affect me much one way or the other. My WWE shopping pretty much goes like this:
New Release and I Want It: Ringside
Recent Release and I'll Take It for the Right Price: Amazon Warehouse Deals and sales at the big box retailers.
Older Releases: eBay

Figure prices are pretty ridonkulous over in the UK. Our equivalent of Walmart (Asda) rarely even carrys figures. Only at Christmas. So be thankful.

Please stop wining because my walmart at Puerto Rico Basics are 12.98, Elites are 23.98 and 2 Packs are 22.98. Before you ask, yes we are part of the USA.

4-5 years ago Elites were reasonable price of $15. The most jarring price jump in my area was when Target when from $14.99 to 17.99 at the beginning of 2012 I think it was. I'm pleasntly surprised TRU's kept Elites @ $16.99. Now only if they'd re-stock more often... |

Actually those BP and Basic prices were that before and Walmart just lowered them a bit but Walmart has really been completely worthless to me other than grabbing a 2nd Luger and E31 Rock during their 12 dollar Elite sale and also getting the T Shirt Macho I did not buy much from Walmart nor shopped there much recently I think I am kinda tired of them in general anyway.

I noticed when I went out shopping on Monday that the prices at Walmart and Target had gone up, strangely the elite prices at my TRU had dropped.. anyone else see that happen?
