That was a great PPV.

The PPV was OK but nothing to go out of the way to see, I enjoyed Goldust vs. Stardust (besides the botched pinfall) which was great from a story telling perspective and the promo backstage showed how criminally under rated Cody is. Danielson vs. Reigns was a good match and as i've been saying all night long he gave Romen Reigns the best match of his career.

watched the Oscars instead and decided to just look at results. I'll watch the show tomorrow before Raw.
How'd the crowd react to Reigns in general?
It's absolutely mind blowing that they essentially teased what nearly everyone wanted to see, and then pulled the rug out from underneath everyone. The most over guy in the roster is now going to work an absolutely meaningless match at Wrestlemania. Incredible.

The only people to get a big pop were Ziggler and Ambrose.

Barrett/Ambrose and Goldust/Stardust were both horrible matches. Sting segment was good, Wyatt promo was good. Tag title match was good, but if BNB/Ambrose was scrapped and that time went to it then it would have been better. Opener was nothing special but it was decent enough, and its finish was great. Divas match was bad, but Nikki looked hot tonight. Rusev vs Cena and Reigns/Bryan were both really good.
Solid show. Probably the best since Summerslam overall

5 Weeks until Wrestlemania and WWE has convinced me to take a hiatus from WWE programming. Roman Reigns is whats worst for business. Believe that.

Decent show. The main event was superb by the end, and had the right result. Cena vs Rusev was really good. Everything else was Raw level stuff, but mostly decent enough. Goldust vs Stardust was terrible, to the point where if the plan was ever for them to have a WrestleMania rematch, that should be off the table now. For the most super cool "I know their real names" points, you should call Reigns "Anoa'i" too.

Why even put Bryan in the match ? Stupid as hell. I hope Lesnar stays and destroys Reigns at Mania

So, being that Rollins/Ambrose have been around as long as he has, neither of them could conceivably deserve to main event WM, either, right? What about Wyatt? No potential there, either? And the only difference is one of those men has been out, due to surgery. Reigns. At what point do we ACTUALLY start using younger talent? Can you really tell me that after that match tonight, had he been around those few months to grow, the same as Ambrose/Rollins has had, he wouldn't be at that same level of delivering, most likely? There is a huge difference between Reigns and Ambrose in terms of being ready for the spotlight. They're both leagues ahead of Reigns in terms of overall talent. Reigns showed improvement, but he still has a ton of work to reach the level of his Shield brethren. My point is this. Not too long ago, Rollins was so God awful on the mic, that people wanted him paired with Heyman, so he had a mouth piece. Ambrose held on to the US Title for basically forever, to defend it only a couple times, drop it randomly, and has since, basically been directionless. Wyatt is the best talker to come around in YEARS, but his 1-on-1 matches, at first, were not something to go "YAY!" about. All talented men, but one could argue against every single one of them, if they were to get the same push that Reigns is, for various reasons. The difference? All 3 of them have had quite a bit of time to develop. And now all 3 of them could headline WM if they were sold right. Reigns? He basically got half the time, last year. Now I'm not saying he IS ready. He still needs to improve. But what I am saying is -- he's improving. For that, we should be glad. Whether or not he should be improving with only 34 days left until WM, is also entirely arguable. The man came back from surgery, and WWE was still like "It's your show" -- he could have chilled on his minimal moveset, and coasted into WM. He hasn't, though. He seems to be making a conscious effort to get better. I don't know about anyone else, but I appreciate that.

LETS GOOOOO ROMAN LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Go where? Shows over. The restroom? I jest. He probably did. After that kick to his midsection, he went back to the bathroom... Vince: "You alright, Roman?" Roman: "Yeah, Vince. Just pissing blood." Vince: "You need a hand?" Roman: "No, I got this." Vince: "You're headlining Wrestlemania, though. Was it worth it?" Roman: "Believe that." Vince: "Good boy. Let me know if you need that hand." And everyone lived happily ever after.

Not a bad ppv, I was really happy when Cesaro and Kidd won the titles! How awesome Bray Wyatt is? I enjoyed Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan. I guess Bryan will be against Ziggler at Mania.

Well...my first free PPV on the Network...let's see... I know how important Memphis is as a wrestling town, but man...were they ever the epitome of a so-so crowd for this show... I had gotten home from work and was actually looking forward to this event as I steered clear of spoilers and what-have-you...but the opener; wow... Couldn't invest in it whatsoever, was dire. Orton's return was good to see; I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that, but let's hope he's motivated. Goldust vs Stardust - From a pure storytelling persective; this match was the best of the night. Cody's dedication to the character is refreshing, and welcome - but the match itself was merely a device to drive the story, and unfortunately the former TNA ref Rudy Charles botched the three count... Seeing Sting and Triple H in the same ring was amazing...this segment had me feeling like a 15-year old again when Sting held the bat in Trips face...loved every bit of it... The Usos vs Kidd/Cesaro - the women played no part in this which was good; focus was instead on the two teams. Nothing to write home about for the Usos, but Kidd and Cesaro's chemistry as a team is great to see develop and now as tag champs let's hope they can keep it going. Paige looked great, and Nikki did quite well here...but again, only 5 and a half or so minutes; Paige never really recovered despite kicking out of an impressive Powerbomb...finish was lame, second of the night. I will admit, seeing the familiar druids and haunting theme of The Undertaker's was enough to make me really sit up and take notice...but then Bray Wyatt lifted the lid and rambled on and I went back to looking at threads on the Lounge and Entertainment Boards on my iPhone...I just don't give a rat's about this; I see no point and Bray couldn't convince me either way...deep down I believe it had something to do with his feud against one of the chumps in the semi-main last year and the near-regression he made since then... Barrett vs Ambrose was strike number three for awful finishes, another dire affair as IMO these two have very little in the way of chemistry...but I did pop for Ambrose either blatantly stealing or paying homage to Nigel McGuiness for his twist on the Rebound Lariat on the outside. Just a headshaker, this match...Barrett looked gaunt almost, and Ambrose seemed to be going through the motions... ...We'd never seen Rusev vs Cena before in a singles match at a PPV. For some reason, the champion comes out first...and the match plays out EXACTLY as I thought it would...predictable spots, Cena audibly calling spots for Rusev, dead-selling and stupid finish #4...I get the whole 'Never Give Up' schtick but when it's so manufactured like it was here, it just makes Rusev look like a chump who needed his manager to distract the ref... Big Show and Mark Henry, Erick Rowan and Big E; all way bigger guys than Cena tapping is fine, but Cena can't. All because he...never...gives...up... That's great, so to me that means, what - he's the only one who won't give up; everyone else, regardless of size and prowess are lumped together as 'Big Dudes Who Give Up To Rusev'...? Just my opinion...Rusev was good though. Main event...ooohh boy... This was as close I'd seen the Bryan Danielson of the indies show up in WWE; he was aggressive, on his game and to Reigns' credit, he hung in there...it was a little too tit-for-tat for my liking, but it was decent overall... Highlight was definitely Sting and Triple H; that made my night! He tucked in his pants AND remembered his bat! Other notes: Eden's announcing style sounds like a cheap imitation of Lilian Garcia's. The ringpost cams were...intriguing to say the least. The 'Kick Off' panel was bolstered with Corey Graves; appearance IMO, he brings a certain freshness to it. Renee's lisp is more and more noticeable ever since she cut her hair...what a weird coincidence...

In a way, they wanted to make Reigns look strong heading into Wrestlemania... Fans were not happy that he won the Rumble and how he won it. So i suppose having him win against Bryan sort of legitamised his position to main event WM against Lesnar. It was going to be Reigns, it was always going to be him, i highly doubt they even wanted Bryan to main event it. I don't really like it myself coz it just makes me wonder what Vince has against Bryan. But like i said, at least this time Reigns wins it in a proper way, maybe it did not really work the way they wanted it to be, but winning it this way does make it look better for him than going to WM with that lame anti-climatic victory at the Rumble.
Now I definitely see Rollins cashing it in on Reigns at Wrestlemania. That'd be a way to win the fans over...
With that said, I still can't believe that I'm finally going to Wrestlemania... Dream come true for me. And with 3 matches already confirmed, I'm all the more ever so excited!
Lesnar vs Reigns Sting vs Triple H Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt
Woo hoo!

I'm guessing we'll add Orton/Rollins Cena/Rusev Ambrose/Barrett Goldust/Stardust Paige/Nikki Tag Team Turmoil and basically have the WM card. Which I don't think is too damn bad, at all.

On another note. Seriously, Dean Ambrose still cant catch a break can he? He was DQ'd for stomping on his opponent in the corner? Why wasn't Austin DQ'd for this in every match he had? WWE and their booking just really baffles me sometimes. I think it's pretty obvious he'll be getting his big pay off at Mania. Not only his first PPV win since the Shield split, bit also his first Intercontinental title reign. As for everyone calling this a glorified Raw, I just don't get it. For a transitional PPV I thought it was pretty damn good. Some people are just too hard to impress these days, or aren't happy unless everything goes their way.

At this point those do seem the logical matches, but it seems pretty dull to have 3 or 4 rematches from last night. Hopefully they spice it up a bit: make Barrett/Ambrose a cage match so there's a definitive winner and no way for Barrett to **** out again. Perhaps have Dusty the ref in the Rhodes brothers match too.

Much better than I was expecting. I'm guessing Paige & Ambrose both win at WM, but I'm not sure about Cena/Rusev though; part of me thinks they'll have a rematch at 'Mania but I can't shake the feeling that we'll get Sheamus vs Cena & Ryback vs Rusev. That whole Wyatt segment was brilliant, ditto Sting & Triple H. Cesaro & Kidd winning was amazing and damn Natalya looked hot. Stardust/Goldust feud is really good & I can't wait for their rematch at WM. Reigns vs Bryan, what a belter! Really looking forward to WrestleMania.....at least the crowd should be better, Memphis was deader that 'Takers streak. Oh, and I marked out like bitch for Orton's return.
