I was watching this ppv on my tagged classic dvd last night and I have a question regarding the main event with Rock vs HHH in the Iron Man Match.
Why was HHH awarded that fall at the end after 'Taker, interfered? DX and the McMahons came down and attacked Rock before Taker appeared and HBK who was guest referee didnt award the fall for the Rock for their interference.
Can someone clear this up for me please?

If I remember right, HBK didn't see the DX interference, but saw Taker attack HHH.

The end of the match was botched. I believe it was mentioned here or at another wrestling forum I visit that when The Undertaker came out, the timing was somewhat off and Shawn Michaels had to call an audible and try to cover things up. Hence, the strange conclusion to this match.
This was one match that shouldn't have been an Iron Man Match. Glad The Rock and Triple H never had another singles match on PPV after this.

Well I dont see why it shouldnt have been an iron man match providing the booking had been better. However, thanks for clearing that up. Certainly a strange one.

Looking back at the Triple H/Rock feud, they had a lot of gimmick matches together. Watching Judgment Day 2000 live, I was wondering what in the hell was happening. The finish ended up being so overbooked you would have thought Vince Russo was writing this stuff.

I remember watching this live and marking the out when The Undertaker finally returned. As far as the ending goes, I believe HBK was knocked off the apron before DX and McMahon's interfered, therefore he didn't see any of it. He saw The Undertaker chokeslam and tombstone HHH. Since the chokeslam took place right before the time expired, HBK disqualified The Rock, giving Triple H the win 6-5. Timing was a little off because the clock disappeared from the screen while this was going on. I believe both moves were supposed to occur before time expired, but the clock expires mid-tombstone. Jim Ross did his best to cover up any botching saying, "the chokeslam took place during the time of the match." I enjoyed this match, but you can tell that something was off during the end. Everything that happened was supposed to, but timing was off and it came off looking confusing.

Rock vs HHH @ Backlash 2000 was a much better affair IMO. But this was cracking too....it was a belter. But yeah the ending was iffy.
