So one of my absolute top 4 favorite movies of all time is getting a sequel...in comic book form.
Author Chuck Palahniuk is currently writing a sequel to Fight Club which will be featured in a graphic novel to be released May 27th.
The first 6 pages have been released online. I have read/own the first book and it's fantastic. I'm pumped about this to say the least. What are your thoughts? Does it need a sequel? Will they make a movie? Do you want a movie?
NOTE: I did not post link to first six pages because it was originally released by Playboy and didn't want to risk it linking there. Also, I did not post this in the comics board because I feel Fight Club is known more for being an awesome movie instead of the original book and future graphic novel.
Thoughts?

I heard about this a while ago but I had no idea it was going to be a graphic novel. I thought it would just be a regular novel. This is great news. Thanks for sharing.
Did the artists use the likenesses of the cast of the movie?

Palanaupchuck is this desperate for $$$, huh??
I liked the movie but didn't quite understand the complete hysteria over the whole thing. The book was really plain. I read the book after the movie, but I had read a Palaaiundsaianiuchilk novel before... I didn't think the book was anything special, and if not for Norton in the movie, I don't know how I'd even feel about it now.
I do admit it's cool that it's going to be a graphic novel, since sequels to movies like that rarely do well in theater or on the big screen (see: the sequel to the Boondocks Saints movie for a similar example, not that the first one was anything too great, but yeah... and Lost in NY can be thrown in there too! Only good part was Rob Schneider sucking ass.).

I actually loved the book as it was a different take on the story than what the movie portrayed.
Example, the "Narrator" meets Tyler Durden on a beach instead of an airplane.
It's just cool that both the book and movie have different stories with similar elements to give us two great stories. It's almost like how the Walking Dead comics differ from the TV show but have similar elements as well.
I think the graphic novel take on the story will work great for a unique sequel. I just hope the actual story holds up...

In my top 3 favorite movies ever. Pumped for the graphic novel. Definite buy for me.
Not so crazy about the idea of a sequel seeing the big screen. Largely because of the time that has passed. It's kind of like The Crow for me as well. It was absolutely perfect for time and place, but now life, society, is extremely different. I would 1000% go see it but I think it has a higher chance of failing than it does building off the original. Those actors have been removed from that world for a really long time and I think it's probably a lot to expect them to jump back into it and knock it out of the park. I don't know. It's kind of a weird scenario when stuff like this happens.

The first wasn't that great so I don't see the need for a sequel.
Yes, I said it.
