Is the flying push that Daniel Bryan uses a new move from him? The move annoys the hell out of me, and I really wish he would stop using it, I know everyone does not watch other promotions, but when you see suicide dives from Lucha Underground, then see Bryan's flying push, it makes him look bush league.

I thought this was going to be another thread complaining about Bryan not being pushed into the main event of 'Mania.

The man just returned from nerve system problems...yeah. Let him kill himself instead of doing a push.

The move generates a lot of momentum and force and makes the opponent hit the (usually) barricade really hard, or shoves them to the ground a lot of force. It's still a solid move.

I watched with a bunch of casual viewers and non viewers and they all agreed that the flying push is pretty weak looking. Just an observation.

Ya ever see what happened to him on NXT? I don't blame him one bit for doing it the way he does.

Are we just picking the weirdest things to complain about now? With this logic Big Show and Kane should stop using they chokeslam because they aren't even really choking the opponent.

No, Show and Kane are Giants that make the act of lifting their opponent above their heads and sending them crashing down to the mat, a serious threat, while the 180 pound Daniel Bryan launching himself through the ropes to do a flying push does nothing for me. Since nerve issues caused this move to debut, I feel that instead of doing the diving headbut, he should do a flying slap, it would be a more high impact, less theatrical version of the worm.

Those two aren't remotely the same scenario...

I hate the flying push. It just looks stupid. So many guys use it nowadays.

It also makes a lot more since than killing yourself by smashing your body into the barricade with the opponent.

'Flying Goat' being yelled on commentary is worse than the flying push. Personally.. I haven't really noticed the 'flying push' as anything strange so guess it doesn't bother me.

I think it's fine the way he does it. I mean him and Benoit both got hit in the ribs pretty hard doing the suicide dive, so he probably changed it so he won't get injured. Although I love how Austin Aries does it, the guy does it perfectly.

Wasn't it called a suicide dive? I think it's cool Bryan uses it, but if he messes up and hits his head on the barricade he's done for sure.
