With John Cena trying to get into it this past Monday on Raw, and then having the segment and "match" with Curtis Axel who's considering himself the greatest Rumble competitor of all time, and making himself the top guy going into the Battle Royal right now... Do any of you think maybe John will get in it and they'll make it so that whoever wins the Battle Royal gets the trophy and a shot at the US Championship, OR have Rusev join the match too and make the match for the title and the trophy?
That way, they could take the title off Rusev without his undefeated steak ending technically. Just like how they consider him undefeated even after getting eliminated from the Royal Rumble.

No, the next few weeks is just going to be Cena trying to earn a rematch with Rusev until Rusev gives in and accepts.

But I think it'd be cooler if the Battle Royal meant a little bit more than just a 2 week push and a demotion to teaming with CatMan. (Not that I don't love Tyson Kidd, I just can't take him serious when he has graffitied cats on his gear and acts like a goofball)

If someone like Ryback won it (as much as I dislike him) it'd probably work a lot better than it did for Cesaro. I don't like the idea of making a guy work a battle royal and then work a second match on the same show. It's unnecessary.

No, not on the same night, I just meant like, whoever wins gets a US Title shot, either whenever they want or at a set date or PPV or something.

Seeing Rusev defend it in another battle royal would be lame. I still think the best way to do it is to have the last two guys in wrestle one on one with the winner getting a US or IC title shot. Haven't seen that concept in a while.

I think Rusev in the match defending the title would be sorta lame, but if they want the title on someone else and don't want to break his undefeated streak, that'd be their only way. But I get how the Rumble doesn't count, I guess, but if he's losing the title, it should count as a loss.

I just think it'd be worse because he's already successfully defended it in a battle royal.

I must of missed it, when Rusev is on my TV, I usually switch to South Park, or switch inputs and play some GTA or something. After Lana's done talking and after I'm done not listening to her and telling my fiends how much I want to do bad things to her, I switch over.

He's turning into one of the best on the roster.

I'm really not entertained by squash matches. I get they're not like that with Cena, but I'm not very entertained by Cena either.

His matches with Big E, Sheamus, Swagger, Cena and Ziggler are all top notch and not squashes. He plays his gimmick perfectly, has solid agility for his build and sells better than anybody on the roster. So...yes, one of the best.

Nah... I think he's just gonna have the rematch. He'll probably tick Rusev or something.

This I kinda hope Sheamus returns and fights Rusev for the title, on raw before mania Cena costs Rusev the belt, Sheamus looks strong on his return, Rusev accepts Cenas challenge for Mania, Cena goes over. Rusev can get his rematch for the us title at extreme rules against sheamus.

They also don't count his Survivor Series match as a loss.
