Ive got no problem with them using Sting's Voice but then changing it up to sound different. The Black Scorpion payoff was terrible but the idea behind it was pretty interesting at first. Different guys popping up, thinking its "him" then when Sting gets close, Black Scorpion appears on the other side of the arena. Its the same mind games Sting played at Fastlane.

Is it just me, or does this sound exactly like Chris Jericho? I'm still not hearing Sting at all.

I could tell it was Sting, but agree they shouldn't have changed it with effects.
I'm surprised it went through as such...thought Sting was very protective of his character.

I'm surprised F4W didn't report it was DDP channeling the distorted voice from his stalking fiasco in 2001. There's always the assumption that WWE felt Stings actual voice was too wacky/excitable to compliment the whole mysterious vigilante character. He does borderline on the Jim Carrey end of the vocal spectrum.

It was clearly Robocop. Or deep-throat Sting. So Sting and Robocop are gonna appear at WM?

That was kind of stupid.IMO Did they really think that we would think that it really was Sting's voice.

I think they were going more for Christian Bale from Dark Knight than Black Scorpion.

It is common knowledge that the black scorpion angle was not only terrible, but also a bust, so why the WWE would choose to copy or emulate that is beyond me. And also Sting wasn't the Black Scorpion, Ole and Flair were, so WTF WWE? lol

I guess they think his actual voice isn't fitting for his look, and they wanted to add more mystique to it.
