I'm sure I'm not the only one that fell out of touch with WWE over the years. My question is what was the year that made you a fan again?
Mine was 2011. I hadn't watched WWE for nearly 2 years, and then 2011 happened:
The Rock came back. Stone Cold came back. The Summer of Punk. McMahon's firing. HHH becoming COO. JR came back. Nash came back. Awesome Truth. The Mass Walkout. The RAW after the Walkout.
That's just the stuff I can think off the top my head.
So, what year did you fall out of watching WWE? And what year pulled you back in?

Same as you man. Punk single handedly saved my love of professional wrestling.

2011 and Punk was what finally roped me back in.

I never stopped watching to be honest. However, there was a time in 2013 that I fell out of it. After CM Punk was left off the main event of WrestleMania and we were forced into "Twice in a Lifetime", I stayed away from TV for the most part at least. WrestleMania 29 was the first that I chose not to order. I would still watch certain things and came back around SummerSlam time.

2006. I'd stopped watching 'cause it was my first year in college and I thought I needed to 'mature' and move away from wrestling...but then Eddie died and Jeff Hardy returned. Rey went on his magical run. Smackdown was putting out a pretty good product, ECW just picked up steam as a brand. I was only out for a few months, but I easily could have forgot about this place, the 'E and my love for wrestling if I didn't hear of Eddie's passing and watch the Eddie tribute RAW (it was RAW, not SD, right?).

I think I stopped watching in the summer of 2011 because I don't remember a lot of things from part of August - December. I started watching again in January 2012, and what pulled me in was the sheer fact that Wrestlemania season was starting up.

Honestly the summer of punk pulled me back in. Even though the company didn't capitalize on it. For about 5 years before that I never watched a full raw. Nobody on the roster had any type of edge to them and I couldn't stand the sight of john cena. Cena was the reason I stopped watching to be honest, I hate saying it because I have a lot of respect for the guy but even to this day I can't stand seeing him. His reactions are childish and his wrestling is stiff and he always came off as a company boy, so he did nothing for me. Punk seemed real and raw and uncut and just felt like he knew wrestling better than anyone on the roster. The guy might be a little bit of a prick some times but I really do miss seeing him.

I fell out of touch with WWE in 07.From 07-10 I cant tell you what happened my memory is extremely fuzzy. TNA kept me interested in wrestling from 07-09. Then ROH kept me going in 2010, then WWE pulled me back in in 2011. I don't get how people can bitch about todays WWE, but defend the travesty that was 2007-2010

Started in 86-87 and never stopped. Haven't missed a WM since I saw WM3. Never missed a Royal Rumble. Only missed a hand full of RAWs and that is only cause my VCR didn't record right when I worked second.

At least we got ECW, then NXT from that era. Smackdown is underrated, if not for anything else the rise of Jeff as a main eventer and his feud with CM Punk.

I stopped watching in 09 but then in 2012 my mom bought tickets to No Way Out. After that I got back into it.
Honestly at No Way Out i asked sooo many questions I didn't know who Daniel Bryan, PTP, The Usos,Sin Cara, Brodus Clay, David Otunga (you get were im going with this) were. So it was a very horrible PPV experience for me

I never really stopped, I've felt on the verge of stopping multiple times though, most notably:
Del Rio winning the Rumble, The illegitimate son storyline reveal, When R Truth main evented a PPV twice, and when Lesnar turned on Angle around SummerSlam 03, 5 year old me was a big Angle fan and didn't care for Diva dodge ball.

Haven't been brought back yet. I started watching in 2007 and stopped in 2014. I have watched the PPVs but not watched a single RAW since about Summerslam '14.

I've probably missed a total of 3-4 years of wrestling from leaving every once in a while. I've just gotten back into it whenever I wanted to. I never really went back thanks to what was happening in WWE at the time, it's just been whenever I feel like it.
