I believe that they're doing better. On the other hand, every store I check within a two hour radius has entire pegs filled with the previous figures. If MDT isn't careful with the distribution, this reboot of the series won't last. Where are you? I'm in northern VA and all stores sold out of and stop carrying Flair back in Dec. Hogan sold out around March and just last Thuraday my Target had about 6 Razor's and as of last night they were sold out. So, they seem to be doing extremely well in my area. IL. Flair and Hogan have sold really well, but the restocks of them added to Razor not really moving has created a small logjam.

Probably the coat. I'm hoping they don't end up scrapping it and going with a plastic coat just to get it out quicker. For 24.99, or possibly more if prices go up again soon, it needs to have the cloth coat. If it has a rubber coat, it's not worth the extra money and could have been a Flashback Elite. Razor and Hogan were great figures, but not worth 24.99 when you look at the awesome robe Flair came with at the same price. 100%

What was the reason it was going to be cancelled? Is it something to do on Sting's end or what. Does this possibly mean no Sting figures at all that would be a shame.

Why on Earth would it be canceled? I think you're all jumping to very odd conclusions.

I can't see it being canceled this close considering it said when we saw the first proto is was for SummerSlam release which is in August. I think people are just jumping to conclusions cause we got Hogan and Razor before Rumble and Mania

Why would they push back the preorder if its cancelled? that makes no sense, they could cancel the preorder if the figure has been cancelled.

I highly doubt it is cancelled. We just need a lot of patience.

Why on Earth would it be canceled? I think you're all jumping to very odd conclusions. We don't know why it would, we only know that other direct Mattel buyers outside of RSC have been told it's cancelled and withdrew any preorders they were initially supposed to be able to make. RSC simply stated they haven't heard anything from Mattel about a cancellation, and it's not likely cancelled due to the showing at the recent comicon. so who knows at this point... Mattel reps telling buyers it's not available and is cancelled is the concern. Maybe RSC has some kind of special preorder privellage on this one, maybe RSC will get their preorders cancelled as well, or maybe there is absolutely nothing wrong with any of it lol it's all speculation at this point

I don't think anyone really knows wether is coming or not. But it will be a huge disappointment if it's cancelled.

My area has been very good about distribution with DM figures this time around. So far, no Wal-Mart stores in my area carries DM. TRU got 2 Hogan cases, which sold out quickly. I bought 2 myself. They just got Razor Ramon and I saw 1 case stocked. My Target got 1 case of Hogan's and 1 case of Razor's. I bought 2 Razor's and as of now, they have one of each.
A agree that the DM price point is stiff. I still don't believe that any DM couldn't fit within the Elite series. DMs are, realistically, a cash grab for better known wrestler. Limiting Razor to a 1 per case flashback limits to potential earning Mattel can received from his name. One thing DMs have done though, is open up a few slots in the Elite line to give mid-card flashbacks a chance. If you think about it with business savvy, Dean Malenko is better off an a one-off flashback rather than putting Sting in that position. If Mattel can keep quantities low and not try to milk the DM line by flooding the market, I don't see price as a problem. People pay more for a better brand anyways.

Flair sold out around here.
Hogan, I still see from time to time. in fact, Wal-Mart here put some more out in the last 2 weeks or so.
Razor sold briskly, initially. but even he's warming a bit here, though warming in smaller quantities than Hogan.

I never once did see Flair in stores.
Hogan and Razor are warming a bit, you only see a few here and there.
