Hypothetical case where Mattel announces they're discontinuing the Elite and Basic lines and launching a new WWE line.
So, define what you would want to see in this line? Scale? Articulation points? Accessories? Price? More flashbacks? Less flashbacks?
Try to be realistic. Obviously everyone wants realistic figures loaded with accessories made with quality plastic for $1, but that's probably not going to happen.

To be honest, I love the current line and am very invested. I can't think of it being any better without jacking up prices even more realistically.
I do however wish they'd consider w Flashback only line that hits all stores a few times a year to get more classics.

I'd like for them to do the hybrid Basic and elites. Like Basic Kane, sometimes the elite torso suck.

7-inch scale (rather than 6-inch scale) and all flashbacks from the monday night wars era!

Wouldnt matter. Im getting too old to keep restarting collections. This is my final go around. If Mattel loses the line or they scrap everything and start over, Im done. Ill move on to something else.

I use to collect a lot of figure lines ( Marvel Legends, DcUC , japanese anime, etc...) but I have to admit Mattel Wwe elite line is on top of my fav (along with Marvel Legends, especially regarding female figs)
The best could be reached if Mattel at one point decided to give elites ball-jointed torso (no T crunch) and double jointed knees for female buck.
About the scale, I think Mattel is doing a GREAT job with this line, so no need to change it

I have always wanted an extensive 3.75 WWE line with the same articulation as GI Joe's. As a kid, I had a huge collection of GI Joes and they would either be at war or, on most occasions, used in my made up wrestling fed. I know Jakks attempted this with the Build n Brawl line but I wasn't collecting at the time. And from the looks of what I have seen it didn't last to long. Even though I no longer play with toys I would love to have an actual wrestling figure line/collection in that scale with the same or even more cast of figures that the elite and basic lines have seen.

Wouldnt mind a 4 inch elite articulated figure. However, the basic/elite line is the last current figure line i am collecting. Whenever it ends, im collecting vintage wwe figures starting with ljn and working up.

Exactly, I think it's time to expand the Flashbacks line into a line of it's own and get back to making a lot more legends. Mattel has been doing it right after a terrible start to making legends and I'm sure they could make it work this time.

Hot toys level collectables is what I want. 12 inch - highly detailed, cloth attire.

It's 4 figures, every few months (which is actually how the Legends line ended up) - sure, they're mainly retooled/reprints, but we're also getting great new versions of guys like Eddie and Yokozuna - plus brand new guys like Tito Santana and Barry Windham. Maybe Mattel are testing the waters for a mass release...?

Mattel is ready to expand the Flashbacks line to get out a lot of new characters that deserve a figure.

3.75" GI Joe scale and style. Like Build and Brawl but with attention to detail on who is bigger than who.

If they went the route of making sculptures like jakks unmatched fury but with better detail, I'd be willing to spend what I spend on elites (which is more than jakks charged) and I'd be happy with it replacing the two current lines. I'm a moc collector so play isn't a priority. I would also be interested in a better version of ljns. Point is that articulation isn't a priority for me. Likeness and detail are all that matter.

I wouldn't mind a sturdier line.
I like playing with my toys. I worry about breakage, loosening joints, and paint wear though.
I think a line of wrestlers that were a cross between bendies, BCA, and an articulated figure would be cool. Wrestlers that could really wrestle. Like a figure that could apply holds like the figure four.

I think Mattel should get rid or chest articulation, it is not that important and sometimes makes the figures look goofy. I think that both basic and elites need to have the elite legs. For cost wise the basic would not have double jointed knees. The elites would be different then the basics because they would come with accessories
