Why would anyone want to see lesnar vs sheamus... That's warrior/hogan Halloween havoc bad. But Kevin Owens vs. Brock Lesnar is gonna be a 5 star match of the year candidate?? To coin a phrase from the Nature Boy... "Pal... I don't think so!" Lesnar likes to throw guys around, so does Sheamus. Lesnar hits hard, so does Sheamus. Lesnar is built big, so is Sheamus. They wouldn't hold back. It would be a great hard hitting match and fun to watch. I think you are the only person in existence that would rather see Sheamus do anything. Kevin Steen was one of the kings of the indies, and if you don't think that means anything then you need to ask yourself why WWE modeled NXT after the indies.

Owens is nowhere near Brock's level yet, but it could be a hell of a brawl. Keep in mind though, he hasn't debuted on the main roster yet. If we go by the Jan-Feb threads, 2.5 years on the main roster is too soon for a big singles match with Brock Lesnar. So unless KO debuts really soon (and it seems like he's gonna rule NXT for a while yet), he won't be ready to face Lesnar before Lesnar's contract runs out. Actually, he could be the guy who retires Brock if the timing works out. That could be an interesting way to go, and it'd cement KO as a force to be reckoned with.

No, for The Dave also agrees that Sheamus vs. Lesnar would be a hell of a match. And you are right about one thing though, I don't think Kevin Steen/Owens being king of the indies means jack. Because I am not a fan of the guy. Now guys like Seth Rollins, Austin Aries, Teddy Hart, I was a fan of in their ROH days. But I never saw anything in Kevin Owens, and I never will.

Id watch it. I have a list of guys Id love to see Lesnar go with on PPV. I will never understand this "it isn't believable" bit when it comes to pro wrestling.Especially when the majority of this board was clamoring for Lesnar to drop the title to Bryan at WrestleMania. I love Bryan and his work.. But lesnar is huge standing next to him. Watching his work.. He can keep up though.

Adrian Neville, Roman Reigns, and the ing WWE Champion, Seth Rollins all say hi.. Neville is a loser. What has he done so far? A network king of the ring? That is worthless. Roman did like one NXT taping if that, I'm talking about current NXT, and Rollins is a success, that's fine. One out of 10? That's a horrible ratio. And even still, if you were right, 3/how ever many is still bad.

He pulled a MOTY candidate from the Big Show....THE BIG SHOW When was this Sheamus and Show had a few tremendous matches in 2012. Sheamus has been an excellent wrestler for years, he's just been a pretty dull personality for most of his run.

Hell in a Cell 2012 I cannot possibly see how people still doubt Sheamus and, even though he's gone, Del Rio Combination of them being boring personalities and WWE's habit of booking the same loooooooong matches over and over. Boring booking can make good wrestlers seem bad. By the end of his run, I was so sick of Del Rio that I skipped pretty much all of his matches. It's a shame, because he was damn good.

Sheamus vs Lesnar would be a very entertaining match. I also see Kevin vs Lesnar to be an entertaining match. Why do we have to fight?

I'd rather see Lesnar vs Owens. I think I'd like to see Ambrose vs Lesnar. If Hardcore Holly can wrestle him, then why not Dean Ambrose?

Lesnar is the pinnacle opponent Have him face henry/show/rhyno/ryback etc in a build to it.

Okay I'm not a huge indy fan, but I do try to educate myself. I've seen quite a few Owens/Steen matches and while he's a good in-ring worker for a tubby guy, I don't see why he's treated like the second coming of Jesus for wrestling.
Lesnar is a whole other 40 levels of caliber over Owens and it would take a herculean effort to suspend belief to see him mangle Lesnar.

I honestly like seeing Owens be the bully on the block moreso than I'd like to see him get dominated. Because all honesty, knowing Vince's affinity for built guys over 'husky guys', he'd pick Brock a trillion times over. The matches would be interesting and the promos would be God-level...but in the end, it could only finish one way, and I want Owens to be built up for years to come once he makes the main roster, not torn down from the jump.
