I stopped playing with figures long ago. My SLU's caused that to happen. I wanted them all and would display them by position, the one in front being my favorite. I have not changed that in staging in over 25 years. the main difference is these figures actually look like the person they are supposed to.

I play with my Kenner DC and Jurassic park figures occasionally. I don't play with my WWE figures

I did really lose the part of me that knew how to play with them. Just looked at all my toys around 11-14, not sure, had 0 interest and tossed them, were basically just taking up space to me. Stuffed animals too except my first teddy bear. Mostly GI Joes, TMNT and WWF, some Ghostbusters, Thundercats and other random stuff, Food Fighters!!! One year Nerf was the greatest thing in the world and the next I didn't know why I thought it was so great, Ballzooka was the last one I had. Felt good at the time, breaking attachments, clearing my room. Books, movies and girls are probably my answers, although I still kept getting WWF tapes.
Now there's an army of Legends and Flashbacks at my place. lol

It's the same thing as video games for me, when I was a kid I barely had any, so I played the heck out the ones I did have, now I have hundreds of them, so choosing a game to devote free time to, or rearranging my collection to book an event is a chore. Rarely happens anymore, but I still "break in" a series of figures as soon as I get them.
