Wicked and weird with tons of kick ass action. They absolutely nailed the world of Mad Max.

Saw it the other day. And though I haven't seen all of the original films, I enjoyed this very much. Non stop action. I loved the musical truck with Doof Warrior on the front and the drums on the back. How bad ass is that?

Went to see it last night, I have never seen any of the original trilogy. It was a 8 out of 10 for me, really an adrenaline rush from start to finish.

A few weeks of reflection later and I still think this is the best movie I've seen this year.

I went to see it again last Night with one of the girls and after my expectations were lowered I enjoyed it way more.
Seen a lot of good films this year(not all were released this year).....Max unfortunately doesn't crack the top 5 for me.
AOU still rules supreme with me. Jurassic World is next on my Cinema outings

Jurassic World is next on my Cinema outings I loved the scene with all of he steering wheels on the wall and the "All hail the God, V8!" line. I loved it because for once you went into a movie not knowing a helluva lot about it. That's how trAilers should be. Out of all the trailers released, they still didn't tell you a Damn thing about the film. That's why Furiosa's arm, or lack thereof, surprised me so much

I had absolutely no intention of seeing this originally. Straight action isn't really my genre, and I've never seen the original films, nor had any desire to. My friends opinions and the critic reviews swayed me, though, and I'm glad they did.
I enjoyed the hell out of it. It's over the top, at times silly, but it all works because it's entirely self-aware.
My only gripe was the variable frame rate. I understand why it was done and why it was necessary, but it was distracting as hell, especially when it popped up during scenes that almost certainly didn't need it.
