For the last time It's not Mattel's fault Target asked for the line and is only distributing it to the U.S. Go yell at target ( btw we still don't have bearer) ...that's only one figure/4-figure set though - I'll happily trade you a Bearer for all of the following, which were never available here: Elite HOF Series 1 Elite HOF Series 2 Elite HOF Classic Ring w/Cage Elite HOF Four Horsemen boxset WM31 Elite Kane & Undertaker WM31 Basic figures x 4 WM 31 Battlepacks x2 WM30 Elite HBK and Bret Hart WM30 Basic Figures x 4 Wm30 Battlepacks x 2 TRU 21-1 Elite Brock Lesnar Tribute To The Troops figures x 4 Tribute To The Troops ring RAW Entrance Stage playset Backstage Brawl playset Training Center Takedown playset TRU Rey Mysterio 6-pack TRU Wrestlemania 26 stuff... any(!) COO Triple H Debut Brown Attire Mankind Vince McMahon Mail Away figure Rocky Maivia Debut figure All Basic "Champions" series figures Most "Superstar Entrances" figures All Entrance Greats Figures All original Defining Moments figures All Legends figures (Series 1-6, & 2-pks) ...I'm probably leaving out/forgetting a few things too(!)

You think that's bad? I live in the United Kingdom. We don't have Target, Kmart, Wal-Mart, or any of those stores. We don't get any of the exclusive HOF sets, or any store exclusive sets other than Superstar Entrances, for that matter. We do have Walmart. It's called Asda. We get TRU exclusives. In the past, I bought target exclusive Transformers at Sainsburies, so never say never.

It's part of the Walmart family. Fanta is part of the Coca-Cola family. That doesn't make it Coke. That's as chalk and cheese a comparison as you will ever see. Walmart is a supermarket within the Walmart company portfolio. Asda is a supermarket within the walmart company portfolio Walmart wanted a UK presence, they bought Asda. Why would they rebrand an already successful supermarket store? Fanta is orange based, Coke is cola based The coca cola company want a fizzy orange option, they make Fanta. Why would they call it coke? That would confuse the coke fans? The Coca cola beverage is part of the coca cola family, doesn't make it the Coca Cola family I could pick as many holes as you want, the bottom line is, WMT.N own a holding company, that owns supermarkets in the UK where they sell their Walmart exclusive figures.

I feel your frustration, being an international collector of Mattel WWE figures is one BIG pain in the butt! Having said that though, in the short time that I have been collecting and based on what I have observed I have come to the conclusion (which I have already stated in another thread) that these products are aimed primarily at Americans. I don't think Mattel really cares about collectors in other countries, we are an after thought and you should be happy that we even see the few products that we see being sold here. The USA enjoys greater availability (more product on shelves there), product exclusives and cheaper prices. However, I think there are other factors that play a role here in the so-called 'lack of availability' in international markets than simply Mattel not being interested in these markets. Some of these include higher transportation costs, different regulations (In Canada we have 2 official languages, all product packaging must be in both languages which results in higher cost), higher taxes and smaller population which means less people who like wrestling and thus smaller customer base. The bottom line is that this is not a good hobby to have if you don't live in the USA, it sucks to say but it is what it is.
Exactly my thinking as well. I really don't understand why Mattel cannot make another deal with other retailers for international markets?! Target is an American company and only does business in the United States as they have no stores in any other country. Therefore, IMO their exclusive should be ONLY for the United States NOT the entire world!? It would not affect Target at all if TRU or Wal-Mart had the rights to sell the HOF series in their stores outside the United States. I doubt very much that someone is going to hop on a plane in the UK or Australia to come to the USA to buy these figures at stupid Target. This is a clear example of what I mentioned above that Mattel's main focus is on the American market, they don't care as much about international markets. If they did they would have signed 2 deals- a deal with Target for exclusive rights in the USA and a second deal for international distribution of this product line with an international retailer.

Just be happy these figures are being released and are available. Id rather pay $60 for a figure and have it shipped to me than not have the option at all.

Target PAYS to have the exclusives. If your local chain that sells elites could justify doing that, maybe they would.
Theyre toys. I didnt get a Paul Bearer figure. Its not mattels fault. Its TRUs

Not to argue with anyone but other than the baf bearer set we haven't gotten anything else that the U.S. hasn't got. Yes we got the baf kane set early but the states eventually got that set. The difference here is that we miss out on tons of figures that were mentioned in this thread. I live in Toronto and will likely have to drive to Buffalo to try and track down the hof set.

Hey you guys had the Kane BAF before the U.S, so quit complaining. Ha ha ha ha!!! Ahh yes... we had ONE Mattel line come in before you American folks, so we should be satisfied with that and that alone?? No thanks. Here's the thing, I can think back when I was younger and saw LJNs and Hasbro figures at my local toy store and there was never any problem of "well this line is for this store only" and "this will only be released in the USA only" because they were toys for kids, so they were everywhere. The problem now is that they aren't just toys for kids, they are collectibles for adults, so it becomes a hunt to find said figures now. Which sucks in a way because it makes it hard to get a figure that you really want, and if you do get it you are paying way too much for it. Times seemed much simpler years ago for wrestling figures.

But I wanna say Europe had it first and like a year before we got it in Canada.

Don't ask MDT about distribution, they don't know anything.
Complain to Mattel Corporate.

because Mattel is a bunch of Shawn Michaels fans! Murrricuh!
Seriously though, I imagined TRU and Walmart doesn't want to carry another WWE line and I agree, its not fair for collectors In Canada and across seas. Hope that'll change someday.

I'd like Mattel to fix their website so that ALL WWE figures on the site can be shipped to Canada. Just tried to order the DM Razor Ramon off their website, but they would not accept my Canadian address for a shipping address. Yet I've ordered a lot of figures, including the Bryan/HHH 2pc, off their site with no problem. Every now and again I choose a figure that they won't ship to Canada. I'd like to know how they decide which figures can be shipped to Canada and which can't. They're basically teasing me with that Razor right now!!!

But I've read that razor has been spotted at canadian tru locations as of this week. I would wait it out. You should be able to find him soon.

Well obviously Target has paid to have exclusive figures made just for them so of course no one else can sell them, that's a pretty easy concept for most of us to understand. So that's to Target's credit, they're bringing more traffic into their stores. I personally have no problem with it and as a Canadian I just buy them online. Actually I buy 100% of my figures online and can't remember the last fig I bought in a store. It's just a fact that it's how you collect if you live in Canada.

Target pays to have exclusives. Your beef should be with Target. But that's just it. Target is no longer in Canada. I mentioned in my original post that Mattel needs to figure out some way to get these figures into Canada and to other countries around the world. So what if Target in the US pays for them? That does nothing for international collectors (who by the way outnumber collectors in the United States.) Shocking, I know. Giving exclusivity of certain figures to one retailer in the US is one thing, but to completely deny international collectors the opportunity to purchase certain product just boggles my mind. What makes matters worse is that these figures that we're missing out on are typically awesome figures too. Seriously Mattel, don't you want our money?!?

Its TRUs Again, that's just in the United States. We don't know if Mattel has even had dialogue with Canadian retailers over the possibility of carrying certain exclusive figures. If I found out that Walmart Canada or Toys 'R' Us Canada had the opportunity to carry things like HOF Elite Series 1 & 2, Elite Rocky Maivia, etc., then I wouldn't have even bothered to make this topic in the first place because I would know that this was the fault of Canadian retailers and not Mattel, that's all.
