Am i the only one that marked out for this? There might have been better looking "Bloody Sunday"s in the past but to see that Move in the WWE was Awesome! That wasn't a Bloody Sunday, it was a Butterfly Suplex. No that was a Bloody Sunday bro. I thought It was a great show, I skipped the main event in favor of sleep, Balor vs Owens was my main event. Neville vs Jericho was great. Jericho looked like he rewinded the clock 15+ years. He hung in there with the very quick Neville. I didn't get how big Jericho is in Japan until the crowd started popping for him. I get that Jericho is huge in Japan, but Neville should have won. He had a great showing but the guy that's on tv every week, that's constantly coming up short, could have used the win more than a guy that only works house shows. Divas triple threat Horrible. Worst match of the night. Sloppy from begging to end, and I constantly heard them calling spots. "Duck" - Nikki to Paige on a clothesline "Are you ready?" Nikki to Paige on the tower of doom No words to express just how bad that was. The four horsewoman need to be called up ASAP. Brock vs kofi was great and exactly what I expected. I was surprised how much offense got in to start the match. I just wish Brock would add more suplexs to his arsenal. Germans are cool, but it gets tedious when it's over and over again. If Brock's new gimmick phrase really is "Suplex City, Bitch." He should add more, t-bones, exploders, northern lights, pump handles, half Nelson, full Nelsons, something. Him killing the new day was still awesome. Finn vs Owens. Sick sick sick match. Balors homage to his first body paint in new Japan, carnage, as well as the Japanese lettering was all just amazing. Entrance was sick as always. The streamers spot was great, it looked amazing. Owens was Owens, the best heel going today. I felt like Owens offense lacked in this match. It was pretty much all Balor. Yes it was very back and forth but Owens only hit a couple of his big moves/spots. Stil an insane match but I didn't agree with the finish. Balor finally busted out the Bloody Sunday, that should have been the spot to end the match. However it's great to see Balor as champ

Cena eyes his next victim I really like this picture. It reminds me of when Cena and Undertaker shook hands backstage.

The Divas match was awful as usual. As others have said sloppy and loud spot calling.
Even though I'm a Paige fan she's becoming as bad as the rest of them on the main roster and "this is my house" is really starting to piss me off now.
And seriously a running forearm as the finish ? Absolute waste of the cost of plane tickets to fly them over there.

I'm glad I actually woke up this AM to watch it.
Best matches IMO were Neville/Y2J and Owens/Balor; it was great that Balor won. Brock/Kofi was good for what it was...a glorified squash. That Divas match was absolute garbage. With the main event tag, it was clear who was gonna win.

That wasn't a Bloody Sunday, it was a Butterfly Suplex. It was supposed to be a Single Underhook Brainbuster/Lift Up DDT which ended up being more like a Single Underhook Suplex because the Brainbuster is banned... So it was supposed to be the "Bloody Sunday" And a Butterfly Suplex would be a Double Underhook Suplex

WAIT.. time out... Balor beat Owens clean. Owens beat Cena Clean. Cena beat Brock Clean. Brock Beat Taker Clean. So Balor can beat Taker? ? Cena has never beaten Brock clean. It took a cheap shot with a chain and an AA on steel steps to beat Brock. That's far from clean

Surprised Jericho won. Thought for sure Neville was gonna get the big win. Entertaining match nonetheless.
Divas match was passable.
Kofi vs Brock went as expected.
Balor vs Owens was great. I was surprised when I heard people complaining about the main event, cause I assumed this was going to be it. Odd choice not to have this close the show. I assume Owens is all but done with NXT now.
I feel bad Itami didn't get his moment in Japan.
I had to skip ahead a few times in the main event. Way too long and not very exciting. IMO they should have had Lesnar destroy Kane or Barrett and had Cena/Ziggler vs all 3 New Day.
Good show over all, but would have been better to end on Balor/Owens.
Hope to see more of these special events in the future.

To watch it live...? As said previously, WWE rarely does shows in Japan, let alone live broadcasted events. It's awesome to say "I watched Bálor win his first NXT championship on the Network LIVE in Japan." Okay. I woke up my usual time which was just after the live broadcast ended. And I watched it right when I got up. 2 hour delay didn't feel less live and not feeling tired later on today was worth it to me. Maybe I'm older and value a good nights sleep more then others. We just wanted to watch it live to discuss the show with each other and avoid any spoilers.

I don't have time to watch the whole show right now, but I couldn't wait to see the NXT Title match, so I'm going to give some thoughts on that one. Balors entrance was great as always. The Japanese crowd made it even better. I love the paint, especially the Onibaba on his back. The flower ceremony was a very nice touch, and Owens' throwing his away was a great heel move. STREAMERS FOR A WWE MATCH! I loved that. I love that Cole's actually going over Balor's NJPW accomplishments. It's like he's a completely different commentator here. He even called the Slingblade. Oddly, I don't think he mentioned the Sumo Hall being the last place Balor wrestled before coming to WWE, but still. You can tell WWE wasn't ready for the streamers. They're still all over the place. What was the lifting reverse ddt specifically an homage to? I know Balor didn't invent it, but I'm not sure of a connection right off. Super Regal Roll! Finn Balor is the champion!!!!!! What and excellent match from start to finish. I know some people thought it would be too obvious for Balor to win, but for me concluding the build and this moment were more important than any surprise. Having Fujinami congratulate him was pretty amazing, though a little rushed. And the handshake tease after was nice. I'm incredibly hyped now.I wish I had time to watch more.

But why do you care? Literally not your business when people chose to watch it or to pass judgment on it based on age. That's like me saying "Maybe I'm 26 and value people understanding a difference between then and than, I guess "your generation" doesn't value that". Literally doesn't matter and is a weird backwards attack.
Overall it was ok show. Having one great match on your special seems like a waste to me. Neville/Jericho was a good opener. It was clear from how hot the crowd was for Jericho that he should go over. Divas match was a literal waste of time. I hope WWE did tryouts for some of the women from Stardom and Ice Ribbon, there's some amazing talent in those companies. Brock/Kofi was exactly what everyone knew it was, actually went longer than I thought it would. Balor/Owens was match of the night obviously. I'm still hesitant to put it up for "Match of the Year" like people seem quick to throw out there. I stand by my thought that basing your match off heavy false endings is not a great match. Superbly fun, and I was hoping they would have actually went a bit harder being in Japan. But I guess they don't share the exact same crowds as NJPW/NOAH/DG/W1/etc. I tried watching the main event but was really confused why it was all taking place. Is Japan behind on TV? What do any of these guys have to fight over? Why is Barrett near a main event? I read the result when I woke up, still confused why it ended that way and had no post match Cena/Owens bit.

Not sure why people woke up so early? That's the beauty of the network, watch when you get up or whenever you got time. Just avoid the Internet/spoilers. Show was entertaining up until the main event, where I didn't care about. Cena + 3 jobbers. Was I the only one who didn't even know what the main event was until cena came out? Japanese crowd was great. I also liked it was only 2 hrs instead of 3. peole woke up so early/ stayed up because one, live is just better. And Two,to thread head

Watched the show a little earlier and was very entertained by most of it. Jericho/Neville was fantastic as well as Owens/Balor. The main event didn't do much for me which is why I skipped most of it. Overall I really enjoyed the show. Great crowd and great atmosphere.

Am I the only one who thought Balor winning should have closed the show? That main event was crap! Nobody gave a 5hit about that tag match it meant nothing. And when they realized that they were like oh and see remember Finn Balor won tonight. Wtf!?!?
