This is when he was dating her cira 97-98. There was nothing feminine about her during this time, very masculine looking and hence why everyone thought she was a man.
Makes you wonder, without being gay...it would have to be the next thing to it. Im a straight guy myself and I have no problem with anyone being gay before someone brings that up but how could any straight guy be attracted to someone so masculine looking?

i always thought it was one of those scenarios where they were just around each other enough that it became a thing. more friends that slept together than anything, or at least that's how i see triple h looking at it.

It's a bodybuilding thing tbh. The more into fitness you become, you start to appreciate body types for the physique alone. Her face was a little masculine but I could look past it as well considering the shape she was in. All it took was implants and a little make up and she was a playboy cover girl just like most other successful "sexy" women. Chyna had something more than what all the other women in wrestling had. Something that could not be bought, only earned through hard work in discipline. From one bodybuilder to another, it's an attraction alone.

Many don't know this but Chyna was on Vanity Fair in 1997 with the catch phrase "Call Me Joanie" so maybe that answers your questions ha ha
But in all seriousness, I never understood what Trips saw in Chyna either. But then, Stephanie isn't really girlish either. She looks identical to her father and has a bigger build to her. Maybe Triple H likes manly women?? Who knows!
Plus Triple H was around a girlish, good looking diva for years.... Shawn Michaels was that diva's name haha

Let's be real here.
Looks ALWAYS matter.
If you can't be attracted to someone on the outside then it's not going to work. Ever.
Looks are very important. Everybody comes with the goodie answer of "looks aren't important, it's what's inside that counts" but they are lying to themselves and each other.
People need to be more honest and quit worrying about hurting feelings all the time. It's like walking on eggshells in modern times.
Physical attraction is a thing. It's important.
