Hogan is kind of a frustrating point for me because, well....it's Hogan. They nail Cena every time and to me Hogan should be as high a priority. But somehow he gets cobbled together roughshod again and again. These figures aren't awful. Okay, the Hall of Fame Hogan is kind of crap, but they aren't awful, they could just be better, especially for THE biggest name in Wrestling history.
Hogan according to Mattel: In the 80's, gorilla armed Hogan had a torso that would expand and contract at will leading to the 90's where he became deathly anorexic, before returning two years ago with a waist that widens at will and arms that pump up and deflate from month to month.
And why-oh-why does the 90's Hogan have a Sheamus torso? He dropped mass in the 90's, sure, but he didn't become anaemic.

I see what you're saying. However, the HOF is my favorite Hogan yet. I thinks it's awesome.

I can't say you're wrong, since it is opinion, my opinion is that the head looks too big and he is far too skinny. I'm just afraid they will use those parts to make Hollywood. In the very least I think they should have used the elite Macho Man torso. That has more bulk. They are now basically saying that Flair and Hogan have the same physique. Hogan is someone I think they need to splurge on with the budget.

I think the hof hogan torso is a better fit for hulk than flair. The dm looks pretty spot on in my opinion. Big arms, great scan and the tights molded higher. The biggest complaint I have is the weightbelt hogan came with.

HoF Hogan has grown on me immensely since I've gotten him, including the torso. Sure I wish it was a tad bigger, but with the shirt and belt on I think he looks bigger.
But yeah, they definitely need to go bigger for Hollywood and all future Hogans

I was watching Wrestlemania 9 just this morning and thinking how 'small' Hogan looked... The HOF figure looks good to me now after watching that.

I love the d.m hogan. I think it's a work of art. The torso looks a little weird at times but to me it's an amazing figure, one of Mattel's best maybe

But yeah, they definitely need to go bigger for Hollywood and all future Hogans I can see the e34 torso being used for a wm 18 hulk. I would love to see them make a new torso mold for hulks. I mean come on fandango got one! If not the wm 9 torso might be the one they use for the wcw Hollywood hogans.

Flair doesn't have the same torso as the HOF Hogan? Doesn't it use the Triple H torso? And personally I don't think the HOF figure is to small. He had gotten very lean by then. I don't think the head looks to big either. Although I do think the bandana make his head look bigger than it is. Maybe the Austin torso might have been better, but I think that would be a better torso if used for a Hollywood Hogan, because he had gotten a little larger during the NWO. And the DM Hogan is damn near perfect for 80's Hogan. The an cut makes it look weird, but the Basic WMH figure is a great representation of his physique in the 80's.

No, Trips and Flair have different molds. HHH has had the same torso since day one. And it's the same one Cena had until they gave him a new one that more closely resembles his real life physique.

I don't have the HOF figure yet, but it looks pretty accurate. At WM9, and KOTR, Hogan was small. No roids. He dropped a ton of weight. We will most likely get new molds for later Hogans.

But from the pics I have seen with the shirt on I assumed it was Triple H's torso under it. Flair doesn't have the same torso as the HOF Hogan? Doesn't it use the Triple H torso? Its the same as ol Ric. Mainly saying that about HHH because the buck is comically inaccurate. Much like Fandango

The HOF Hogan looks perfect. Following the sex and steroid scandals Hogan got off the roids and was much, much smaller from 1993-1997. It wasn't until 1998 that he started getting bigger again.

I think DM Hogan is spot on. HOF one the head looks a little big to me. Like they slapped a Jakks on it but overall it's pretty good. He wasn't as jacked.

It wasn't until 1998 that he started getting bigger again. he dropped so much weight and looked drastically different during his return in 1993, that they actually had to talk about it on air! at King of the Ring, Jim Ross makes it a point to say that Hogan slimmed down to have more speed and stamina against Yokozuna.
