Agreed. It looks alright on the DM as mentioned before but defiantly it would look better without.

I think the split down the middle of the shirts are ruining the appearance of Hogans attire. It really stands out in the new HOF Hogan with the red shirt. I know its meant to reflect his ripped shirts but Id rather the vests appear intact without the split down the middle. Jakks made the same mistake and as a result the hogan vests were awful looking with the velcro often not sticking and the "Hulkamania" letters all spread out and uneven. Are you serious? They NEED to do that? Or what happens? Why is everyone so nitpicky with their figures on this board? Mattle is giving us the best figures we have ever gotten. If you don't like it don't buy the DM Hogan...The basic has no shirt, the aged elite doesn't have tears in either of his shirts....So yeah they don't have to stop anything. Sounds like you need to stop buying.

For that price point they could easily give us both a non ripped and ripped shirt made of rubber.

I get what they were trying to do with the ripped shirts, but I'm not a huge fan of them. Would prefer the next couple ones to be normal, non-ripped shirts.

Some good points mentioned. I like the idea of Mattel including a normal vest and a ripped vest. Mattel showed its affordable with the Outlaws so no reason they cant do the same with Hogan figures. Marino showed it works nicely when displayed correctly but in Hulkamania 4 life's sig it shows what im getting at if you look at the HOF Hogan.

I distinctly see "think" and "rather", which convey an opinion, not "They need to" or "Because I said so".

I think they should make a fabric shirt with no rip, and a molded shirt that's already in 'mid rip' for and you could just put it on him, pose his arms/hands and be done.
Honestly, my DM Hogan looks pretty good posed ripping his shirt, and I've seen some great pics on here with the same
Unfortunately, I can't seem to get my HoF Hogan in the same pose. I don't know if it's because the shirt is a smaller mold, or if it's because he has different arms?
Idk, but either way, I'd be open for improvement

Well..
if these figures had the proper articulation to do the shirt-ripping pose (double jointed elbows), maybe it would be a better idea.

Ralphs cloth shirt looks wonders better than Mattel's takes. I understand budget isn't as large as we would like, but even non ripped plastic (E34 shirts) look better than ripped Im not buying their budget excuse anymore, Mattel elites are now a rstaggering £19.99 here in the UK so that excuse is wearing thin with this particular collector. I can't claim to be an expert, I'm not, but I am wondering why I picked up the Star Wars Black 6" Emperor Palpatine for under $20 and he has a full length fabric robe made of quality microfiber with elaborate stitching. Mattel figures are larger, sure, seems like a bad decision as they don't fit in with other 6 inch figures very well. I'll tell you, Mattel didn't get to be the mega corporation that it is by giving us higher quality for cheaper. Not an excuse but merely an observation.
