In fairness Chris it always looked this way....even before we seen a second of footage. The record time in which Gunn wrapped primary shooting was widely applauded and it confirmed Cast & Crew were 100% on the same page and passionate as hell about the project. I'm personally delighted for Gunn, Feige & Marvel. I have no doubt all 3 Marvel entries next year will be crackers. One of Disneys best ever decisions was buying Marvel.....because when you team it with Pixar and Star Wars? no other studio has close to what they have going on. Well said mate. For blokes of our age, it's wonderful to see the brands we loved as kids continue to inspire and thrill kids in this day and age with new ways of telling stories et al. Luke Cage pencilled in for season 2 on Netflix officially. I'm so down for Luke Cage season 2. JJ is the only Netflix series I'm still iffy on. I LOVED season 1, I'd even rank it above LC. But I fear as though Purple Man was too strong of a villain for just one season. I think they set the bar too high villain wise for that one. Purple Man should have lost the battle but not the war Kingpin style. I'm all for more Daredevil and Luke Cage though.

Luke Cage season 2 is great news. I'm always going to be down for more Netflix series. Give me three a year.
Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite movie not just in the MCU but of all movies so I'm obviously beyond excited for the sequel. I thought Groot and Rocket were going to steal the show with the opening scene but then Drax goes ahead and takes it in the end. So pumped.

Couple of questions regarding the MCU I just watched The Incredible Hulk and then Thor Dark World yesterday Now I've seen all of the MCU movies but it's been a while. Those two and GOTG & Dr Strange is it probably since Civil War came out Where is or what ever happened to Betty Ross? And are we under the assumption that Abomination is dead? He didn't really look dead after the fight but maybe he was? Then for Thor. Where is Jane Foster supposed to be? Like I said it's been a while since I've seen Avengers or whatever Thor has done since TDW. Didn't know if it was ever explained Thanks in advance Betty has got no mentions(IIRC) since TIH. The movies events have got tons of references but strangely? No Betty. Abomination is 100% not dead. It is confirmed in one of the "one shots" that he was the original choice of the Council(likely Hydra elements) to be part of the Avenger Initiative. Coulson and Sitwell speak about it before Coulson sends Stark to sabotage Abominations inclusion(conversation at the end of TIH) He is also referenced 2/3 times in AOS as being locked up someplace. Jane is referenced in AOU. Her work surrounding the events of both movies have seemingly made her VERY famous. Thor speaks about her at the party in AOU but I cant remember exactly what he says? hope that helps chief.....

The One shots that used to be exclusive to The Blu Ray features were full of little kernels of info!!

I didn't even make it to Episode 4 of Luke Cage.
I'm just noot feeling Marvel's Netflix division anymore.. I'll watch a 3rd season of Daredevil since I believe they're trying extra hard on him.. I'm looking forward to The Punisher.. But I'm just not feeling anything from Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.. Prolly won't even check out Iron Fist. I've lost faith in what they're doing.
They're fooling people with this "shared" universe.. The TV shows can reference the movies but I guarantee we'll never ever have the movies reference the TV shows.. Which is a real shame for characters like Daredevil and Punisher who deserve more than whatever Ike Perlmutter has going on with the TV division.
Drastic quality difference.

I personally really enjoy the netflix shows. A lot of people do. And I understand why the movies won't reference the shows. Way more people will see the movies than the shows.

The shows referencing the movies is natural......what happens in them is f*cking huge. The other way around? I don't really care to be honest. Plus production schedules make that incredibly difficult. Roll on tomorrow for that Spidey trailer

I think it would be something really special if Spider-Man Homecoming is happening during Civil War..
We see him before he meets Stark and goes to the airport battle and after the airport battle.. And inbetween is their own version of "2 days later" of "hint hint wink wink" you already know where he went..
That's like Inception level Marvel movies and would be something really amazing, IMO.
Implied crossover.

Implied crossover. Though I watched it (at least 15 times) I never noticed he was wearing the old hoodie. He also has on the giant web-slingers when he reaches for the briefcase. So I think you might be onto something. This appears to be in between the time Tony met him till the time we see him stealing Cap's shield. If that's the case... I love it!

Here it is guys! Marvel is looking to have perhaps their biggest cinematic year yet. Guardians and Spidey both look to be great. I have no doubt Thor will be a fun ride as well. I don't want it to happen because I love both Marvel and DC but the DC Universe is looking like it might take a huge pounding from Marvel in 2017. WW is still a huge question mark with Gadot not having been the lead in a movie before. And knowing how BvS and Suicide Squad turned out, I have little hope for Justice League.

Here it is guys! Damn. Vulture looks like a credible threat instead of an old man with green feathers too. (Not that I thought they were going that route, but he very easily could have been a joke). Me diggy.

Even in the unlikely event that Ragnarok tanks and winds up being the worst MCU film so far, it'll still be leaps and bounds better than WB's best DC effort. The frustrating thing is that the execs will sit back and scratch their heads and wonder where it all went wrong. That's disappointing to me in the utmost, because I want both Marvel AND DC to succeed.
