Defenders becomes available at 1am my time, I get home from work at midnight. So enough time to get home, shower, make food, throw in laundry, and clean the upstairs bathroom (we have company arriving to stay for a week on Friday night) and I can start watching. I will likely watch 4 episodes tonight, then the last 4 after work tomorrow

Crap, I forgot that it's only 8 episodes.
I'm soooo binging this all in one sitting.
Then the wait for Punisher begins...

Defenders is up. I'm starting it now.
Edit: Three episodes done. Starts pretty slowly, and it takes some time to really get the characters all together, but seeing the small connections between them begin to string everything together is neat. The last 6 minutes of episode 3 was really cool.
Onto episode 4.

Just finished. Loved it from start to finish. The first actual meeting of Danny and Luke was great, as were all the interactions between Jessica and Matt.
Cutting it down to 8 episodes helped the pacing so much, and I really think it would benefit them to do it for all the Marvel shows from now on.

Just finished the Defenders. I liked it. IMO Matt stole the show, but that is no surprise. The only two things I would like to have seen...
1) Since Jessica was so reluctant to get involved, I would have loved it had she said something like "Call Tony Stark" or "Well tell the Avengers". IMO something simple like that would have went a long way with connecting their universes.
2) When Karen, Foggy, and all the friends were trapped in the police station, I wish the Hand had raided the police station. Karen and the friends hide and Karen starts dialing on her cell phone. Someone makes a joke about "who were you going to call, the police?" And she responds with "No, some help". Few minutes go by the Hand is about to assassinate someone like Trish or Malcolm, and the Punisher walks around the corner and starts shooting the place up. He kills the Hand and leaves. Only time we see him.

Finished watching The Defenders yesterday and the show was pretty great. I will say Misty Knight has to be the most annoying character though.

I'm watching The Defenders right now and Charlie Cox is a legitimate talent. He honestly deserves better than Netflix in the MCU.. He deserves to have his own film in the future.. I'm dead serious.. People in here know my feelings towards the Netflix shows.. But Charlie Cox and his Daredevil continue to be amazing. Only Jon Bernthal rivals him as Punisher.. They BOTH deserve films. Finished watching The Defenders yesterday and the show was pretty great. I will say Misty Knight has to be the most annoying character though. Luckily she has two massive reasons to keep your attention.

Count me in on the Charlie Cox love. I absolutely love Jessica and Luke too, and probably like Danny far more than a lot of people, but, damn... Matt Murdock just steals the show whenever he's on the screen. Like, it legit sucks that we'll likely never see a crossover between the TV universe and MCU, because what I'd ing give to see Cox's Daredevil and Spider-Man together. Or Punisher and Spidey together. Basically, what I'm saying is... gimme some of that sweet, sweet Spider-Man: The Animated Series crossover action.

on Episode 3 right now..
This is the best Marvel Netflix show they've done since Daredevil season 1 as of right now.. Really enjoying myself.
I want to say this, even though I didn't like Jessica Jones season 1 I absolutely LOVE the character of Jessica Jones and Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. It's a great character and she owns the role.
EDIT
I really wanna like the guy playing Luke Cage, but he's a bad actor.. Almost everyone related to Luke Cage and his story are not very good actors.. Outside of a couple.

Finishing up The Defenders right now and I think they did a great job.
Really solid.. Not surpassing Daredevil season 1, but it's there with it..
Had a lot of fun watching.

Saw that Finn Jones mentioned in an interview that he's going to begin his training for S2 of Iron Fist next week, and they're about 4-5 months away from shooting still. So, hopefully now that he actually has time to train (and a lack of Scott Buck), the fight choreography will have an uptick

Finn Jones has more issues than fight choreography.

I also finished The Defenders last night. Great series overall. There were a couple of minor nitpicky things I would have changed but all in all I really enjoyed it. I might be in the minority, but I actually appreciated that it took 3-4 episodes to get the team together. The slow build gave each character time to not only show what they've been up to, but also how they fit into this battle with The Hand. I'm even more excited for the next seasons of each character (including Iron Fist...can't believe I just said that). The fact that The Punisher is coming out later this year is just a bonus!

I'm through three episodes of Iron Fist after waiting so long to start it, even though I was told by most to skip it, and honestly I don't find it to be that bad. I have no experience with the character or knowledge of his origins and I didn't want to watch the Defenders without watching this first.
Three episodes down and I already find it to be better than the first season of Arrow (the only superhero show I don't haven't cared for).
