I've watched daredevil and am almost finished Jessica jones. Do you guys think I have to watch Luke Cage and Iron fist before I watch the defenders? Just wondering Iron Fist more than Luke Cage, imo. Though I guess you technically neither is required viewing, since they kinda explain everything out for the audience in Defenders. But there is lots of The Hand in Iron Fist.

I thought The Defenders was fantastic and it was all the better for only being eight episodes it felt like there was less bull crap and more just straight to the point. I thought the whole cast did a great job and I am genuinely super excited to see where this all goes from here.

I still think they're handling Jessica Jones strength poorly.. Every time they try to show it to us it looks really bad.

Personally:
Jessica Jones Daredevil season one Defenders Luke Cage Daredevil season two Iron Fist
Punisher was the only thing saving DD 2 from being dead last.

Spider-Man: Homecoming passes Guardians Vol 2 in it's worldwide gross to become the highest worldwide earning superhero movie if the year so far. Probably won't keep that title, I think Justice league will pass it but still. Also the second highest grossing Spidey film worldwide.
I don't think Sony is having any issues with the numbers this film pulled in

The problem with Justice League is, a lot of fans were very put off by BvS. So I think that could potentially hurt them. To many fans, justified or not, the DCEU has become a punchline. I mean I expect them to do well, but not as good as Wonder Woman did.
But I might be talking out my ass, so who knows.

People will see it out of sheer curiosity - even if it's just to see what a cluster it is. It probably at least matches Wonder Woman.

I mean I'm being totally frank here about it, marks and super fans and even casual fans are usually a little more serious and in depth than the 17 or 18 year old kid that loves superheros and wants to simply watch sh*t get destroyed by Batman and Superman. There is a large demographic that will rake in the cash for Justice League in spite of DC's issues. But it won't do money like Infinity War.

Justice League will do more international than Wonder Woman. Maybe not as much domestic though.

I quite enjoyed the first episode of The Gifted. Can't believe it's from the same network that makes a trash tier show like Gotham

Yeah, The Gifted was a lot better than I thought it'd be based on the trailers.
Inhumans was... well, I guess it wasn't as bad as I expected. But it wasn't far off.

The Punisher was been moved from mid October to mid November in wake up the Las Vegas shooting.. WELP. Y'know, I could almost understand it if it were a regular network show... but Netflix? I mean, you'd think that anyone who is going to seek it out is going to know what to expect. It's not like stumbling across it while scrolling the channels.

Agents of S.H..I.E.L.D. Season Five premiere: Dec 1st, 2hr premiere. Horror/sci-fi vibe. Bloodier than most previous episodes.
