Cable looks so serious in Deadpool 2 and then everything else is a joke lol should be an interesting mix. It’s like that one kid who took dodge ball extremely serious in school while everyone else just messed around

I would do ANYTHING if it could knock Avatar off of the top spot. That movie was meh at best and it'll teach James Cameron for running his mouth about the Superhero genre. Def. would love to see that. He needs to jump down off the high horse. The love and appreciation of superheroes has been around for decades. It's not like this is a Pog or Fidget Spinner fad. It's great to be in this golden era of them now getting the time in the cinematic spotlight.

It's great to be in this golden era of them now getting the time in the cinematic spotlight. It's very simple, comic movies are doing better now than ever because we finally have a studio who understands their characters. They're being done right and fans trust in Marvel Studios. The sooner people like Jodi Foster & James Cameron understand that, the better off they'll be.

I honestly don't think anything needs to pass Avatar to make a point. The Top 10 movies of 2017 were: Star Wars Beauty and the Beast Wonder Woman Jumanji Guardians 2 It Thor Despicable Me 3 Justice League And Logan was 11 for your honorable mention. The genre speaks for itself. Avengers and Black Panther are going to be 1 and 2 for 2018. The MCU has made $16 BILLION dollars world wide over the last decade for Disney. BILLION, with a B. Nobody needs to defend comic book films to James Cameron, or anyone else for that matter. Avatar literally changed the way movies are filmed. It was absolutely Dances with Wolves in space but that's honestly a silly criticism of that film when there are only between 6-10 real story conflicts across all blockbuster films. Visually, Avatar was an achievement in filmmaking we've never seen before. I don't think that entitles Cameron to be a d*ck about superhero films, especially since Terminator and Aliens are pretty much cousins to Star Wars and superhero films, but I don't care about his opinion on that subject. The same way I don't take Meryl Streep seriously. She's just ignorant to the genre, and that's ok. Jennifer Lawrence has an Oscar and does X-Men films. Ben Affleck, 2 Oscars, he's Batman (and was Daredevil). Robert ing Redford did a Captain America movie. Michael Keaton seems to be good with making comic book films. Jeremy Renner, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, JK Simmons (Oscar winner for one of the single greatest film performances I've ever seen), Emma Stone who has an Oscar, Don Cheadle, Gwyneth Paltrow who has an Oscar, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Bridges who has an Oscar and is Hollywood royalty, Ellen Page, Natalie Portman has an Oscar and was in V and Thor, Halle Berry was Storm and Catwoman and she has an Oscar, Andrew Garfield, James Franco, Ben Kingsley has an Oscar, Sam Rockwell has an Oscar, Mickey Rourke, William Hurt has an Oscar, Edward Norton, how many legitimate Oscar caliber actors do I have to name in order to defend the genre to someone like James Cameron? So again, between the money and the level of actors who are taking on these roles, nobody has to defend anything to anyone. I think Chris Evans is one of the very best actors of right now and I think he'll end up winning an Oscar one day. He's done two Fantastic Four movies, voiced Casey Jones in TMNT, The Losers, Scott Pilgrim, and he's Captain America. Not to mention his sci-fi stuff like Sunshine, Push and most definitely Snowpiercer. So you can be an amazing actor in Blockbusters and still do "art" films like London and Gifted. Most of the industry knows this already.

Just seen Deadpool 2 tonight and oh my god is it hilarious. I'm often sceptical that a sequel can be as good as the original but this is absolutely up there with it, perhaps even funnier. I'm not gonna spoil anything but there are cameos and references you will love. The mid credits scenes are out of this world.

I’m still hyped for Avengers 4 weeks after seeing Infinity War. Really excited to see Ant-Man& Wasp too. I hope it has a good end credits scene to set up any type of surprise for A4.
I’m gonna be seeing Deadpool tomor...well, technically tonight. Can’t wait. I’m really curious to see what they’ll do with the property if Disney does, in fact, buy out Fox. Ah, to finally see the X-Men potentially done right.

There are so many references in Deadpool 2. There is so much Wade dialogue that is either a callback or in reference to comic book content/pop culture that it's probably impossible to catch everything the first go-round. The mid credits scene(s) is probably the best I've ever seen. It honestly seemed like most people in my theater didn't get most of the references or they weren't ready to laugh at 11:30am. Me and the guy down the row were really the only people laughing at every little thing. There was even a Rob Liefeld joke haha.
Seeing Deadpool and Cable on screen together was like a dream come true. I thought they over delivered with that dynamic and those action scenes. I think DP2 feels like a continuation of the first film. So don't expect to see them try to break new ground. I thought this one had a more fleshed out story and the jokes were just as funny. The level of satire and thought that went into the comedy was higher than the first film imo. I'd say DP2 has a stronger third act, as well.
I'm comfortable saying I loved Deadpool and I think this one was better. Obviously, it doesn't have that "new" feeling of watching Deadpool be Deadpool the first time around, which I think appealed to a ton of people who didn't know a "superhero" film could be like Deadpool, but I think if you're a fan of the character that you'll be really happy with this one. Because of the dialogue, the repeat viewing on this one seems really high. I hope everyone really digs it because I want more.

They definitely had the comic fans in mind with this one more than any other super hero movie I've seen so far in my lifetime (and I've seen em all). It was great. But of course they still had enough for the casual fan, it was the perfect balance. Was it as good as the first? I dunno, how many movies are as good as their original predecessor? All I know is it was a great combination of HILARITY and action. The fight between (not going to spoil it) and (Not going to spoil it) was EPIC...like some of their comic encounters. I saw the movie last night starting at 12 am and people were wide awake and laughing in a full theater then. That's how I can say WITHOUT A DOUBT that this was a very good movie. Seriously, don't wait for the Bluray/DVD, go see this in theaters. You'd be doing yourself a great disservice not doing so.

So I have seen all the MCU movies minus Black Panther. Honestly, I’ve never really cared much for the character. The suit looks cool and I kinda wanna watch it but I was wondering what you all thought
Is it must see?

Watched Deadpool 2 today with my son. It was hilarious. Some great cameos especially Brad Pitt being the invisible guy. And him saying Fox was to cheap to have all the X Men, and then it shows over his shoulder all the X Men and they close the door. Lol. But I wish Shatterstar had done something. He was one of my favorite characters growing up. Domino was excellent, as was Cable.
