Apparently Tom Holland actually never saw 'The Empire Strikes Back' according to Joe Russo (commentary track), which led to the lines' inclusion in Civil War.
That's pretty cool.

Despite all the Marvel haters filling the internet up with "waaaaghhh Marvel screwed Favreau on IM3" no such thing happened and I think that could happen. All he has to do is include the real Mandarin which we know is out there from the Slattery one shot. Setup is simple. Stane was in Bed with the Mandarin in IM1 and double crossed him......Killian was also part of that setup but decided to do his own thing and also double crossed him and invented his own Mandarin to suit his agenda. Real Mandarin turns up........looking to f*ck some serious sh*t up.

Back in 2013 people were saying they'd never do the real Mandarin because it means Marvel has to introduce magic.. Well, look how that has played out.

Mandarin would never be Chinese, can't alienate that market. So it would likely be white.
I just always thought a redone Mandarin using a combination of magic and salvaged chituari tech from Avengers would be cool. Like use the tech as the rings and as a conduit to strengthen the magical elements.
Would have been cool in Iron Man 3, because if Mandarins powers came partially from that tech it would have enhanced the PTSD Tony was suffering from Avengers since it would have been that same tech being used against him. Giving the PTSD angle actual weight and implications instead of simply using it as comedic relief.
And for the record if it was me doing it, I would have kept Kingsley as Mandarin, just ditched the actor twist. Have Killian think he's using the Mandarin but have Mandarin play him in the end, having Iron Man fight Killian in the middle of the film following the plane rescue, and after Killian is defeated, weakening Stark in the process, that's when Mandarins full plan cones to light. Stark lost most of his Iron Legion in the Killian battle, so it's just Iron Man and War Machine against Mandarin.
But what do I know?

Not the twist itself, but that they got Ben F'N Kingsley to play a fake Mandarin. When he himself is PERFECT CASTING for the actual Mandarin!!

First look of Agents of Shield's Ghost Rider... Ah, so it IS Robbie Reyes. I wonder if this will lead to them introducing the real Ghost Rider at some point.

I think Ghost Rider is extraordinarily well-suited for a Netflix show. I'm one of the three people that actually kinda liked the movies, but they just didn't do the character justice.

I saw the first one in theaters and wasn't impressed at all. I HATED the villains and the fight scenes. So when the sequel came out I was eager to see it because I didn't think it could be any worse than the original. Hot damn was I wrong!!

I can't stand Agents of Shield, I'll never support it after a boring and horrible 1st season.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy Mark Ruffalo as Banner/The Hulk. Watching the two Avenger movies again and it's just a great fit for him, in both roles.

Ruffalo is great, I'm glad he took over for Norton. Norton seems like a douche and wouldn't have fit in with guys like Downey, Hemsworth, & Evans at all.
