So, I finally got myself an LJN Bendies ring. The main reason for getting it was because of how close in scale it seemed for the Hasbro figures and because of the cage it came with. I got it on The Bay for $46 which I feel was a come up considering I've seen it go for way more. It's in decent shape, but I did notice that one of the hooks for the posts was broken, so I was bummed about that. I'm sure I'll fix it soon enough. Anyway, here are some pictures I wanted to post for anyone who ever wondered about the scale of the ring and WWF Hasbros. Here are a few angles of the ring Here are some with the cage Some side-by-side comparisons with the Hasbro ring And a look at the LJN cage on the Hasbro ring. It looks a bit weird because of the pegs, but it fits it well. Anyway, just wanted to share the new shipment and show everyone a glimpse of the scale since that was something that I was always searching for on here.

Nice pickup. It's good to know that Bendies ring is on scale with Hasbros. I love the pictures with the cage, especially the Superfly one.

That's awesome! I was a huge Hasbro/LJN guy myself. Seeing those pics makes me miss having them on display.

Agree the Hasbro's look great in that ring. I'd pay that for the ring and cage. If you got the box well then that's just awesome. Love the cage on the Hasbro ring. Very Cool!! Is there a hidden message in Kamala beating up on the Hulk, or is that just ironic?

That's a great pickup!!! What's the hole in the side of the base for? It came with some lever things to pound on, which hit the ring from the bottom, and the point was to bounce your opponent out of the ring:

The ring ropes in good condition are the hardest part. I know you can buy replacements at a home goods store, but there is something about original parts.

Glad you guys dug the pics. I got the two levers that go with the ring and the bell timer as well. The only thing that wasn't included was the box and instructions. I have the original ropes, that I believe the previous owner tried to modify to keep from getting too loose, but they're loose as hell by now. The ropes I have on the ring in the pictures is from some cords that I bought from Jo-Ann Fabric that I also used for the Hasbro ring. They're not as elastic but they'll do for display purposes. I love that I was able to get this ring, I hate that it took me until my early 30's to get it 'cause I'm pretty sure I would've been playing with this ring everyday back when I was kid. It's funny, I first saw the LJN bendies ring when I was over at my cousin's house and we went over to the house of the kid next door. The kid was annoying, but he had the coolest toys. Haha. When he showed us this ring my eyes nearly popped out of my sockets. This was back when the first wave of WWF Hasbros had just been released. The fact that this kid had a ring and a cage had me floored. I had seen the regular-sized LJN figures and ring before, but never the bendies. I think I might've even asked the kid to trade/sell it to me, but he obviously didn't. Even though there were no Hasbros available at the time to compare in size, I always had a suspicion that they were close to scale. Anyway, just thought I'd share with you that story. And glad I showed @.@ Hempsterdance @.@ something new. And g4, kudos on picking up on Kamala beating Hogan up. That son of a bitch has been ruining my childhood for too long now! Haha.

I loved that old story man, always fun to hear about seeing cool stuff at a random friends acquaintance's house. Reminds me of first seeing LJNs at my grandma's neighbors house, or Hasbros at my cousin's.
That ring is really sweet too, something new I want to keep an eye out for!

I had no clue that the bendie ring was so large. I had never seen one in person, but believed it to be much smaller. I always looked for that ring as a kid. I had the old AWA ring, which I used with the bendie set until I got the hasbro ring. Thanks for sharing!
