I loved that podcast. Sure, she talked fast. But it actually worked out because we got a lot of information out of it.
I've been a fan of Paige since FCW and knew a fair amount about her, but I have a whole new appreciation right now.
I hope we get more Austin podcasts like this. Not everyone needs to be a top star. Also, I'd love to see him have Regal on.

That was honestly worth it just for the Roman Reigns promo prompt

This episode of Countdown seems interesting. I was discussing the weird trend in 95/96 of gimmicks that were normal jobs. There were gimmicks before and after that represented jobs, but during that time you had a plumber, a farmer, a garbage man, etc. What's funny about that time is it was a low point for WWE financially. Apparently the guys needed second jobs because they weren't making enough wrestling.

Paige talks faster than a Young Bucks match LOL! Why sell when you can spot.

Raw was a mixed bag this week. The Roddy Piper tribute video was well done, it's still sad that he's gone Paul Heyman cut another awesome promo and Brock just standing on the steps was cool.Neville vs. Seth Rollins was good, really hope that he beats Cena cleanly at Summerslam. Sasha Banks should have been in a match.

WWE gives too much away for free.
-Why do I care about Sheamus and Randy Orton? I've seen them wrestle 100 times.
-Owens and Cesaro have also wrestled a bunch already, you can't hype up a SummerSlam match between two guys we've seen wrestle.
-WWE idiotically gave us Cena vs. Rollins last week on RAW, and all it accomplished was getting Cena hurt. Even if Cena were able to wrestle at SummerSlam, it wouldn't be their first one-on-one match up.
-We've already seen Reigns/Ambrose fight Wyatt/Harper in dozens of Shield/Wyatt Family matches over the last 2 years. They seem to fight each other in some form or fashion EVERY WEEK.
-Same with the Tag Team Division and the Divas...the same people fight each other every week.
This is why the PPV's don't seem special anymore, because there is not a match that WWE can offer me that I haven't already seen and seen for FREE on RAW or Smackdown.
They need to do more of a ranking system like UFC or utilize enhancement talent more, because I'm just tired of seeing the same people fight the same match every week.
And while I'm complaining, does WWE false advertise much? Their RAW Preview was something like "WHAT DESTRUCTION WILL BROCK LESNAR UNLEASH ON RAW TO GET THE ATTENTION OF THE DEADMAN?!?!?!?!".....well Brock Lesnar didn't do jack except stand there for 5 minutes and leave. It really was a waste of an appearance. I don't want him to WRESTLE on RAW because that would be giving too much of Brock away for free....but he literally did NOTHING. His appearance accomplished nothing. It did not advance the storyline at ALL.

The only thing about Raw this week that I didn't care for was the Barrett match. I like Ryder and Barrett but they really aren't doing anything with either. Either way, it was a great Raw.

Raw was Raw. Not great, not bad, just sort of there. They're in a bit of holding pattern with a lot of guys and a lot of angles and it's starting to show. For the hype, Summerslam is turning out to be a one match card. Cena's absence was felt. The potential outcomes of his match with Rollins are...disturbing, to say the least. I'm sure it'll still be a good show, though.
Rollins/Neville was incredible. Reminded me a little of the Jericho/Triple H match from Raw in 2000, which is a moment that I absolutely love.
The Divas Revolution stuff needs to take a turn, and fast. Again, way too much of WWE patting themselves on the back for acknowledging women than actually putting women in a position to succeed. The goodwill the divas have built up with the audience is only going to last so long. If they can't make people invested in these characters or the storylines, we're destined to go back to square one.

Catching up on Raw right now. Personally I think it's been great.
I think we are in a real good period with WWE. All divisons are getting decent focus
