Almost every target in my immediate area has reduced the size of their WWE section when they did the new rollout I met a guy today that was doing the new rollout and he says they shrank the WWE section and Star Wars and are expanding their Ninja Turtles and something else I stopped paying attention after he said reduce size of the WWE section target Has been my go to place for like a year now... but like all six stores in my immediate area are doing this this is not cool

They did this around this time last year for the fall reset. Around here, Target was THE place for new Elite sets all of 2014 until the fall reset last year when they shrank down the WWE section. At that point, Target became a total abyss for anything new until Elite 34 started showing up this spring.
Also, expanding the TMNT section is amusing to me, because I'm not sure I've seen a slower moving toy line in EVERY store I go to than that one.

It looked a little smaller. I didn't give it much thought because there was nothing new. I know they moved DM from the shelf to a peg. The reset was pretty boring for all the toylines. Best thing I bought was the Lego Scooby Doo Mystery Machine.

It's also frustrating because a target in my town last week got E36... and got my hopes up and now they're shrinking

My area Target the turtles and WWE ate in separate aisle. But a target about 30 miles away for the past 2 years has had 1 peg for basics and 1 for elites and they got neither set of the HOF figures

Turtles were doing amazing last year and the year before. Seems like the moment has passed, but never underestimate a box-store's total cluelessness on merchandising. "Superhero toys? Are they based on a movie? No? Give me one case." *Sells out in five seconds* "Movie Superhero toys? Give me 80 cases and a floor display and an endcap and a ceiling hanger!" *Sells five pieces, has to clearance out to 2 bucks a figure in a year, still not selling*. And this is a time-proven formula that I had noticed since Spider-man 2 in 2004.

This would suck due to Target being a huge help to my craving addiction

Yup toy reset was very disappointing this year. Only 4 feet for the WWE section. That sucks! I tought the HOF figures was doing well. Can't wait for the star wars revision on September 4.

Ditto. I didn't even see Star Wars action figures. Just that giant Jabba the Hutt and all the lame gimmick BS that doesn't sell.
As for WWE stuff, they still had the same selection as before, but now that selection is a ton of elite 32 & 33 and CAS. I don't think I'll be shopping there for awhile. It's looking grim. Supposedly they have 2 DM Hogans, but I didn't see them.

The WWE section at my Target is massive. It actually takes up an entire aisle now. They have over 40 elites stocked.

I tool a trip to my nearest Targets last night and noticed that both had done this. They still had the endcap from the sale a while back, but it took me a little time to find the regular space.
