I thought this could be an interesting discussion. Let's say that Brock stayed with WWE, and beat Goldberg at WrestleMania XX. What would of happened with him then? How would you like to have seen him booked?
Here's what I would've like to have seen up to mid-2005:
-He reignites his feud with Eddie, and gets his rematch for the WWE title at Judgment Day. He ends up losing again, with another dirty finish. -On the next episode of SmackDown, he attacks GM Kurt Angle, after Angle refuses to give him another title shot. -As a result of this, Angle publicly "fires" him the next week. -Eric Bischoff, being the opportunist that he is, "signs" Brock to RAW, and he debuts by attacking Chris Benoit. Bischoff then reveals that Benoit will defend the WHC against Lesnar at Bad Blood. -At Bad Blood, Lesnar defeats Benoit for the title. -They continue to feud, but Lesnar ultimately defeats Benoit in a rematch at Vengeance. After the match, he shakes Benoit's hand, teasing a Face turn. -Over the next few weeks, Lesnar slowly turns face as he begins feuding with Evolution, ahead of Randy Orton's title shot at SummerSlam. -At SummerSlam, Orton uses dirty tactics to defeat Lesnar for the title. -Due to Evolution turning on Orton the next night, the WHC is decided at Unforgiven in a Triple Threat match: Lesnar vs Orton vs Triple H, in which Triple H wins the title. -Lesnar begins feuding with Triple H, but gets beaten down by Evolution in an injury angle to write him off TV for the rest of the year. -He returns during the Royal Rumble match, which he wins. -At WrestleMania 21, he defeats Triple H for the WHC, and again in two rematches: A Standard match at Backlash, and a HIAC match at Vengeance. -Following this, he gets drafted to SmackDown, and takes the WHC with him.
Well, that's it. Not perfect booking by any means.
So, over to you guys. How would you have booked him?

I think he would have showed up the next night on Raw and challenged Benoit for the World Title the night after Wrestlemania XX.
Brock would be a Raw guy then. HBK vs. HHH would still happen, but then Benoit would have Brock to deal with and HBK or HHH wouldn't be in any title matches again with Benoit for quite a while.
But it's weird, it just seemed so fitting with Brock leaving at Wrestlemania XX. Same with Goldberg. It's hard to picture both men being in the WWE for the rest of the 2004 year and on into 2005.

Brock was headed for a series with the newly returned Deadman in 2004.....and he was booked to do a LOT of looking at the lights for UT. IMO? Its one of the reasons he turned in his notice......he was informed of this after being told he would beat Goldberg for two reasons
1) Because Bill was leaving he was going to be beat in front of MSG
2) Brock was to look strong for the Deadman and put him over just like UT had done for him in 2002.
I think feeding Brock to UT was a SHOCKING plan IMO.....and I like ANY plan that deviates from this course. I also think Brock vs Evolution wouldn't have happened. HHH used every ounce of his stroke to stay far away from Lesnar and Raw would have remained his little fiefdom......with his own plans.
But man would I LOVED to have seen that.

I hadn't heard about this program with 'Taker. I'm glad it didn't happen, their feud from 2002 was AMAZING.

In my own perfect world...
He beats Goldberg. He chases Eddie for the belt in heel manor.
Stays away from the title until he turns face again. Which would be awhile because he realigns with Heyman.
Begins to dominate everyone. Triple threat at SummerSlam 04 with he and Taker and JBL as champion. Feuds with JBL for the belt and Heyman screws him again and Brock wins rumble for the second time at WrestleMania 21 against JBL
Holds title until WrestleMania 22 where he faces John Cena in the Backlash 03 rematch. Brock beats his ass.
Brock basically beats everyone's ass until he runs up on Taker at SummerSlam 05. Beats Taker's ass. Still the man. Who can stop him?
Kane has returned in his mask and is as badass as ever but Brock still whips him like a government mule.
Who can stop Brock Lesnar??
I'm seriously so emotionally drained right now this is TO BE CONTINUED

Cena wouldn't be as big as he is now. Batista wouldn't have been as successful, JBL wouldn't have been WWE Champion.

Fun to think about, but it all worked out pretty neat in the end. Brock is like a mythical creature nowadays.

I don't mind that he went to UFC and dominated but I wish he hadn't left at the top of his game to go play football.

HHH didn't want Brock around him. Brock would have put over Taker and probably taken the title off of Eddie. Brock then holds the title until WM21 where he puts over Cena. Basically Brock still dominates SD and no JBL in the main event. Maybe JBL takes Booker's spot at feuds with Cena over the U.S. Title.

I wrote about this a blue moon ago. I'll put this in spoilers because it's pretty long: Arguably the greatest pure athlete of his time, Brock Lesnar ran roughshod on the WWE starting in 2002. He pulverised his way through all comers before becoming the youngest WWE Champion a mere five months into his career by dethroning The Rock. Within a year, Brock feuded with Undertaker, Big Show, Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero before, in putting it mildly, crapting the bed in a match against Goldberg at Wrestlemania 20. Both men were on their way out and put no effort into the match, prompting the disgruntled MSG crowd to jeer their every breath. Brock’s two years of dominance were tarnished by that one match in the fans’ eyes. But what if only one man in that match was on his way out? What would Brock do if he had (at least) another year on his contract?
For argument’s sake, we’ll say the Wrestlemania XX goes down the same way. Goldberg screws Brock out of the title at No Way Out, and Benoit/HHH/Michaels still main events. Brock beats Goldberg and sends him packing.
The biggest rumor regarding Brock post-WM XX was a move to Raw and a feud with Evolution, so let’s start there. The draft lottery sends Brock to Raw for the first time since 2002, and on his first night he goes through Evolution, effectively turning him face. From now until Summerslam, the main feuds on Raw are Benoit/Michaels and HHH/Lesnar. Sure, we don’t get the Triple H/HBK Hell in a Cell match, but I like the idea of their last confrontation ever (Last Man Standing RR ’04) going to a no-contest.
Backlash 2004: Benoit vs. Michaels vs. HHH for WHC. Lesnar fights Flair and Batista in a handicap match. Evolution attacks Brock after the match and we think he’s gone for the night. In the main event, HHH closes in for a win when Brock blindsides him and lays him out with a sledgehammer–poetic justice. Benoit lands a diving headbutt and pin to retain.
Bad Blood 2004: Brock and Triple H get inside Hell in a Cell, while Benoit defends against HBK one-on-one. HHH and Benoit win.
Brock sets his sights momentarily on the World Title, and Benoit respects him enough to give him a match. HHH wants Michaels for a final match but Orton goads HBK into one for the IC Title. Have I mentioned Orton [and to some extent, Batista] have been taking the beatings on Raw from Brock for Triple H? He’s starting to think for himself and starts to break away from Evolution. Orton retains over Michaels (he’s probably going to hold the strap until October where he drops to Benjamin–legitimizes him without pushing him to the stars; his WHC reign was just to erase Brock from the record books anyway). Through shenanigans Triple H gets his way into the triple threat.
Vengeance ’04: Orton retains over Michaels. Triple H wins the World Title. The following night on Raw is Benoit’s rematch. The week after Benoit and Brock tear the house down in a #1 Contender’s Match, which Brock wins. It’s announced during the build up the loser has to leave Raw for good.
Summerslam: Angle finally wins the WWE Title from Eddie Guerrero (by the way, on SmackDown Cena begins to rise as an upper midcarder against an upper-midcard JBL–he doesn’t need the gimmick change AND the push if nothing’s gonna come of it). Orton retains the IC Title against Benoit. Triple H retains against Brock in a brutal main event. With Brock on his way out Evolution’s called out (at this point just Flair and Batista) to finish him off. Suddenly Batista snaps (he’s been getting his ass kicked by Brock on Raw) and lays out Flair and HHH! He storms out and a content yet defeated Lesnar walks off to close the show.
The Brock/Angle feud of the year prior is rekindled, this time with the added elements of Eddie Guerrero, Deadman Undertaker and Booker T. Combinations of these five (with some John Cena, JBL, RVD, etc. sprinkled in) feud until the Rumble. Angle is still champion by the (lack of) hair on his head. The Rumble comes down to (face) Batista, (heel) Orton, (face) Brock, and (face) Eddie. Batista ends up winning by throwing out Brock and goes on to his Evolution blow-off against HHH for the World Title.
Angle and Brock become the focal point of the show. Because SD lacks a Royal Rumble winner this year, a tournament is held between Eddie/JBL/Cena/Booker/Undertaker/Lesnar/RVD/Mysterio to determine #1 Contendership. Somewhere down the line, Orton appears on SmackDown to cost the Deadman his match. After Guerrero is eliminated he sets his sights on Raw’s HBK. Brock defeats Cena at No Way Out. Two out of three falls will be the added stip. Money in the Bank expands to Raw and SmackDown superstars. Kane fights Big Show instead of the sumo match.
So, after an extra year of Brock on the roster (with the intention of more years to come), Wrestlemania 21 expands on its already-great reputation. The card shapes up to be:
Two out of Three Falls: WWE Championship: Kurt Angle (c) vs. Brock Lesnar
World Heavyweight Championship: Triple H (c) vs. Batista
Money in the Bank: Edge vs. Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit vs. Christian vs. John Cena vs. Rey Mysterio vs. JBL vs. Shelton Benjamin
Randy Orton vs. Undertaker
Eddie Guerrero vs. Shawn Michaels
Kane vs. Big Show
Womens Championship: Trish Stratus (c) vs. Christy Hemme

Cena wouldn't be as big as he is now. Batista wouldn't have been as successful, JBL wouldn't have been WWE Champion. Agreed. Plus, the company wouldn't have offered $1 million to a wrestler off the street that year

One thing is for sure, they wouldn't of had to rely so much on Cena if Brock had stayed. He would've been the balance to Cena who really never had an equal. They tried their best to make Orton that person, but that never worked and it seemed like a cheap Rock/Austin rehash that would never go away.

Likely would of been a victim of 50/50 booking, trading ppv wins with randy orton, etc

He would have been the #1 guy during the 2000s (and probably still would be) for as long as his body held up to the grind. Fans wouldn't have been force-fed guys like Cena, Orton, JBL, and Batista, and the ratings wouldn't be as bad as they are now.

If he hadn't left I don't know if he'd of been as impactful as he's ended up being. Going away and doing the things he did shot his stock WAY up
